  1. What was this about? Something hidden on the channel lineup?
  2. Check to see if your condenser is clogged (it's the radiator looking thing at the front of the car). In order for the refrigerant to get cold, there has to be good airflow through the condenser. I believe the fan should turn on as soon as you turn on the ac. (Mine does).
  3. Throw out some thoughts. All your doors shut tight, including the rear hatch? (Try manually opening shutting all). Does the airbag light illuminate when you start the car? (Bad buld/circuit has a beep warning that's intermittent). Either 5x5 or 3x2 dings. Is the airbag light lit after running? (Used car, no airbag, bad ground, burnout buld). Try fastening the passenger seatbelt. If it stops, try unplugging and the replugging the connecters under the front seats. As it's a pattern, soulds like an error code (simular to that of a personal computer when it couldn't display the problem on the screen it will issue beeps). Try to catch the pattern, such as 3 beeps, them 2 beeps, short silence then it repeats. Airbag is 5 chimes for 5 times, the silence. Repeats after several minutes. Ford has a beep warning built in to indicate a problem it has detected, if it can't inform you otherwise. Catch the pattern and Google it such as "Ford beep 3+2". Kind of sounds like the airbag light is bad, except it shouldn't be doing this with the key out. Only alarm I can think of when the car is off is the headlight alarm. One additional thought. How old is your battery?
  4. For Sync 3 Ford dropped the Microsoft Auto operating system and switched to the Blackberry's QNX system. Did a google and haven't really seen a lot of problems with the new system.
  5. See my post in http://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/20329-noise-cancelation/?fromsearch=1
  6. Be advised that when your lease is up, you will need to turn the car back in ..... in original condition. Any modifications will need to be reversed back to original, AT YOUR COST. And returning the exhaust system back to original will be more expensive than whatever you spend on an aftermarket system. And, depending on the dealer and lender, your modifications may also require "other" parts needing replacment as you made may be considered as causing those to be weakened. A good example would be if you had lowered the car. This puts extreme stresses on the entire drive structure, bearings, struts, seals, etc. If the dealer wanted, he could find fault with so much more. Check your lease papers before you change anything and remember it's up to you to return it in original condition (minus normal wear as defined in the agreement of course). They WILL charge you for the costs to return back to original, things such as road-rash on the wheels (new wheels), scratches (body work at Ford Service dept prices), etc. Had a friend at work that took pristine care of his Explorer over a four-year lease. Parked way from other cars, etc. that sort of stuff. Had to pay over $750 when he turned it back in, for a new wheel for road rash and a few (small) scratches.

    I'll drink to that .....
  8. Pulled this off the Ford website. A QUIET RIDE Acoustic-laminate windshield glass is standard for every model. Edge Sport is equipped with active noise control technology to refine the sound of the 2.7-liter EcoBoost. Sport and Titanium models incorporate acoustic glass on driver and passenger doors. Of course you could always add noise cancellation to your car. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0044DEESS/ref=mp_s_a_1_4_a_it?qid=1466205790&sr=8-4&keywords=ear+plugs
  9. You use the voice button. ☆See page 390 of your owner's manual for details.☆ Remember that Sync's interaction with a cell phone is phone dependent. (Don't know about Apple, but Android was just updated. Best to keep your phone updated with the latest os.)
  10. Here in northern Indiana water spots are usually caused by acid rain (from the steel Mills over new Chicago). The problem with this is, it's so acidic that when the acid rain sets on the windshield and dries, it actually etched the glass. You can see it on the windshield as a residue after the water has dried. If your water spots cannot be removed with window cleaner, it possibly might be etched into the glass. I never found anything, other than buffing with compound, that removes water spot etching.
  11. Actually there is just such a warning in your owners manual about adding speakers and causing interference with the stability control system. Look for the Warning in the stability control part of your owners manual.
  12. See my post in this message for 2017 changes. http://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/20399-2017-ford-edge-production-information/?do=findComment&comment=153487
  13. I'm going from memory, had a 2016 MKX loaner couple of weeks ago, tune your first Sirus station, then press and hold one of the channel buttons (on the left side of the radio), until the sound goes off and comes back on.

Think it hit 68° here in Indiana today. !!
  15. Are you getting any codes? (No code checker, take to Auto Zone or simular) and have them read.
  16. Just "one" fan was running. Shouldn't both be running? What caused you to replace the fan assembly in the first place, were neither of them running? Btw, are you testing with the AC turned off? With ac on, both fans should be running.
  17. Ummmm, I wonder what would have happened if you had put you old controller on the new fan assembly? If I remember it was the wiring coming off the controller that had the two wires reversed at the connector. I'll see if I can find the reference.

After a pitcher of afro/soviets, I'd trim your hedge as well. (OK if I use my chainsaw)? 89° at 66% rh = beach or pool weather.

  21. If I remember correctly, someone here in the forum (or in another related forum) found that the wiring connector on the aftermarket fan assy was wired differently. Couple of wires were reversed, and that caused the fans to run continously. Should be able to find which terminals to change in the connector if you Google it.

Prefer vodkas made from rye. (Of course by the second drink it doesn't matter any more .... )
  24. On my 09, they pop out of fasteners near the bottom (grab at the side near the bottom), once it pops loose, slide down the back until it's about 1/3 way down and remove.

I believe that you have to put a drop of dry vermouth on you finger and rub it on the rim to technically call it a "martini" The more olives the better, imo.
