Have the dealer remove it at your next oil change. -
Back seat wont fold down/un-latch

That's great, easy fix. Good to know, photos may help someone else with this problem in the future. This post will describe how to add photos (I use Photobucket). http://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/13034-how-to-use-this-site-post-photos-your-control-panel-etc/?do=findComment&comment=101627 -
How does this work. If I read the manual correctly, you flip the stalk up one position ( and this turns on the intermittent wipe AND the autowash. What do you do to choose between the two functions? (Don't think I would like the little wash button at the end of the stalk however. I would probably end up accidently washing the back window when I didn't want to).

Believe they have to declare this before the sale and required to be on the title.

Just out of curiosity, what exactly is a "thank you" sticker? -
Vibration/shake in steering wheel and cabin
enigma-2 replied to garhof's topic in Brakes, Chassis & Suspension
If you are feeling it in the steering wheel, and rotated tires (front to rear) the vibration *should* switch to the back. Only takes about a 1/2 oz of unbalance to feel vibration. I would also ask the dealer if they balanced at 100 mph or 60 mph. There's a lot of testers that can't actually check above 60, and/or shops that only go up to 60 when balancing. -

New tires can be bad. Had a set put on the tire store were unable to balance over four times. Finally switched to a different brand (higher cost) and they ran smooth as glass. They thought the tread was not running true???? -

Did you have the alternator checked? Good battery can't stay charged with a bad alternator or regulator. -
"USB requires too much power"
enigma-2 replied to Groundpounder's topic in Audio, Backup, Navigation & SYNC
Oh, ok. I've had trouble using USB 3 drives in my Dell's USB 2 ports (don't work and Dell states USB 3 drives 'must' be used on USB 3 ports.) Wasnt aware that a USB 3 drive would change to USB 2. (USB 2 works ok on a standard USB port, but it slows the entire USB system to standard USB. In my curreny comuter, I have this problem, ran out of USB 2 ports and had to use sto USB ports. Everything on USB 2 system switched to std speed. Didn't think this could happen with USB 3 drive. -

Sounds like tire balance. One reason they may not have found the problem is most balancers only balance up to 50-60 mph. Never had anyone try to balance at 80, I imagine that you would have to ask for it specifically. (And then the balance could be off at lower speeds like 40-50. Always a compromise.) Also, tires tend to go out-of-round and still balance ok, from making a hard, panic stops. (Even a singe panic stop at high speed can burn off tread in one spot enough to cause it to run uneven.) This would be more prevalent with old tires, those that have less tread depth to burn off. It may be you just need new tires; how much tread is left? -
For years our local Ford/Lincoln dealer sent all the alignment service diwn the street to a lcoal professional alignment shop. They finally invested bookoo bucks in a top of the line alignment machine and now do their own. Agree with burrcold, dealer had his chance, go with a local professional. One that has "alignment" in their name.

I could be wrong, but I didnt think that you could use a USB 3 memory stick in these audio systems. USB 3 is a much different animal than the older USB 2 and 1 memories. -

Honestly I don't know if they come with instructions, but I doubt it. You really need a service manual for this, should be able to find a software version on Ebay for cheap. -
60° conical bevel lug nuts. Responded in a different post. https://m.summitracing.com/parts/gor-61148bcx Note these may not be the proper lugs, just an example.

Too much light would exceed FMVSS and all state DOT laws. Running with these on could get a nasty ticket. -

If you do replace the actuator make certain is to check is the 60% seat recliner synchronization. If you fail to follow the instructions for this, the seat back and seat belt could fail in a crash. Your problem could also be a broken recliner cable. -
Look on the bright side, they didn't charge you for the paint chips.
