  1. I just purchased a 2010 Edge from Lakeshore Ford in Ludington Michigan, this issue was noted at the time of purchase and the dealer agreed to take care of it. This was reported to the salesman, service manage and owner of the dealership. They said their shop was booked for a couple of weeks so to call for an appointment after that. When I tried I never got a return call and request to the sales people yielded no response. I finally just made an appointment for service at the service desk. After identifying the seat problem the service manager said I would have to pay for the repair because the seat was OK when I bought the car, he either has a terrible memory or is a liar. If you do business there you do so at your own risk because they obviously have no intention of keeping their word. Now I discover that this is a common problem with the Edge. So much for integrity for the manufacturer or the dealer.
