I'm crossing my fingers that the Edge Titanium I ordered a week ago will arrive by February.

It's funny, I was trying to find the thread about this topic before I made my order. I too had a $750 private offer. They locked in a $500 incentive in their offer to make the price look $500 better than it was. But it wasn't a problem because I didn't expect them to counter my offer with such a low amount and even with the extra $500 it was below my reservation price without any incentives. Regarding the private offer, what is the ideal time to request more info from Ford in order to get another private offer that will be valid if I have an idea of when it will be delivered? Should I request more information from the ford website 2 weeks before delivery?

10 is as good as you can get unless the regional service manager for Ford ups the priority due to extenuating circumstances. As long as your dealer has allocations, it'll get scheduled with first priority.

I am 100% sure that they are taking orders. Try going to another dealer and when they say "we're still taking orders for 15s" tell them that you are willing to put down a deposit today if they'll place an order for a 2016. Then before leaving get a print out that shows the dealer order # with your selected trim and options. Nobody is sitting on orders. They have already begun scheduling. But from what I hear dealer stock orders get scheduled first initially.

I ordered it with Kona blue, but I think Too Good to be Blue is what we're going to go with.

I ordered a 2.0 AWD Titanium with 301A and trailer tow. Just wondering, once you order, when is the latest you can change your selections such as paint color? I ended up getting it for $38,500 inc. doc fee not including TTL. I will be eligible for whatever incentives are available at the time of delivery. No plan pricing, just straight forward negotiating and telling them exactly what I wanted up front and remaining calm. I got a great deal and it only took me 45 minutes and I was out the door. I'm so pumped.

I was quoted $41,775 MSRP for a 2016 Titanium 2.0 AWD with 301A and tow package. Last year it was $41,925. I think the difference comes mostly from the removal of the heated steering wheel.

Well if they are charging over MSRP, then who knows how much they messed around with the MSRP price. So far, that's the first I've heard about pricing. Until I hear it hear, I'm going to assuming the price guide for 2016 has still not been released (meaning the dealers don't have prices yet)

Or maybe the merciful Ford Gods will change the order guide to allow that combination to be ordered???? one can only hope!

Oh no, I just reviewed the order guide and you cannot order the Cognac interior with the Too Good to be Blue color! I don't understand! that would be the best and most classy combination.... For some reason you can order it with Bronze Fire, but I have seen both the cognac and Bronze fire in person and they don't really seem to belong together. I am so disappointed. So is my wife. Now she doesn't know what to order.

After looking at the Lincoln MKX, I see why the headlamp light bar is not included in the Edge. The Lincoln has it... They need to give people a reason to upgrade in the US market

Too Good To Be Blue looks pretty classy!!! Kona Blue looks pretty dark in person from what I remember seeing. If I had to pick a blue, I think i'd personally like driving in a Too Good to be Blue Edge... hmm.

The 2016 Edge has two new blues. Is the Kona blue the same one that the mustang has/had? I can't seem to find any pictures of Too Good to be Blue at all. What does that look like in real life???

I was hoping to make the Edge a family Christmas present, now I can call it a "birthday present" for my wife in February. If it takes much longer, I'll have to call it an anniversary present in July

The media finally caught on eh? Yeah the water issue is a huge problem. They should've issued an official stop-sale. If they didn't they only did it to avoid extra paperwork, I'm sure.
