Gumper

Well, I have three options... One, use the OEM Class II hitch without weight distribution. Two, take the vehicle to a Machine Shop and have the OEM hitch receiver cut-off. Three, have the dealer Re & Re the OEM bumper and install a bumper without the hitch option ($720.00). Hefty price to pay for something that appears to be a Class III hitch to start with. Buyers beware if you plan to use the hitch for anything more than a waggon.

We have a 2013 EDGE LTD AWD with factory Trailer Towing Pkg... Class II bumper hitch. We need to install a Class III hitch for Load Leveling & Sway Control. The problem is the hitch is part of the bumper. How do we remove the factory hitch?
