yep, weather is really shi%ty!!! The AWD is working pretty good, but I have to try and remember that AWD or 4X4 does not mean a thing on ICE! the HID's however make all the difference in this snow!

6000k 35W I wanted to get that blue look, and almost went to the 8000k, I am glad I stayed with the 6000k it has that nice tint of blue and look great, by the way, I got atleast a dozen second glances and 1 guy asked me where I got my HID's. It was right at a red light, buddy got out of the car and asked me! He said my lights look "sweet". The only bad thing is I did alot of night driving tonight for no reason lol. I am using more fuel Pictures are coming, right now we up here (Kingston, Ontario) are getting dumped on with a pile of snow

I got them installed today "They look F'N awesome!" anyway there is a little problem, I don't know how to disable the DRL's, I have to turn the lights on in he "ON" position all the time, or they flicker crazy (could give someone a seizure for crist sakes) does anybody know how to disable the DRL's? I would appreciate it ALOT! Oh and I will post some pics shortly!

I just got back from BEST BUY (iddiots)....anyways I was just about to purchase the Pioneer NAV sys and they asked me what kind of vehicle I had, I told them Ford Edge ofcourse, they looked it up and said they had to order the harness for it and would take 3-4weeks to get it shipped to them (its free install if you buy there for $899 - $300 off from $1199) anyways I asked them how much for the harness they said $138.00 + taxes, I told him, "So I have to wait 3-4 weeks for this part and pay $150 for this part? he said "you will probably have it working in your car in 6 weeks?????", I told him to go to hell!!!!!!!!!! anyways I found this harness on ebay could somebody tell me if this harness (its a pioneer) will work, or if not steer me in the right direction to get this harness? I would REALLY appreciate your feedback as I want to get this setup in the next couple of days. thanks! hey Craiger, I have notices you are the wheel/rim guy lol...I was wondering just how much softness you sacrifice going from 18inch to 20inch and 20inch to 22 inch? I would really like to get the 22's but if its a rough ride my wife will object to the idea os 22 inch I also heard the 22 inch ties are VERY bad handling in the rain? maybe depends on what make? please let me know, as soon as the spring rolls around I am getting 20's to 22's thanks! I apprecizate it!

its an 07, sync is only in the 08's? can anybody else shed some light on this? its kinda a bungy type cord coming from a little compartment directly behind the mirror, they have red/greed wired going into the mirror/? IS my rear view mirrow electronically powered? and what would it be powered for>????????????????????????

So I go and get a car starter (makes life easier and warmer lol) and after I pick my Edge up they mounted a little signal transmitter for the starter. Then I get looking and see a cord right behind the rear view mirror? I start to investigate and the mirror has (2) little screens on the front/bottom of the mirror. I couldn't find anything in the manual? What the hell? Someone shed some light on this lol?

DAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I thought it was nothing to worry about, strange thing is if I leave the heat on 32 HIGH TEMP for long periods at a time I smell this burning. I turn the heat down to 22-23 it goes away? I thought at first the heat was soooooo hot that it was heating up the plastic vents causing the smell, but after reading this long thread, I think I am in the same (BIG) boat as all of you guys! Monday Morning my Ford dealer is getting a phone call!

I would also be very intersted. I am an iddiot when working on vehicle. I can do alot of things but a car and & me don't see eye2eye lol. but when my kit comes in I am going to save myself the $80 and try the job on my own!

been researching HID's for th elast (2) weeks, I have finally ordered them! 6000k from Todd.......Now that I have got that out of the way I was wondering about my fog lights? I see alot of peopl are installing either yellow HID's or just a yellow fog bulb. Is this a new trend or does the yellow and the HID play towards some kind of vision advantage? some people say the blue tint with the yellow fog makes visibility better? ofcourse I need opinions, and if you are lurking in the shadows LEX please sepak your mind will be posting pics as soon as I get my HID's from Todd :hyper:

I am not sure if I asked you this question? Before installing my HID's does the DRL (day time running lights) have to be DEactivated? and if the answer is YES? WHY? thanks LEX, by the way how does a person just turn off the DRL's?

Chad. I have the edge in the sage color. (beige/silver) Is there a way if I were to get my tails done through you..to get a lighter tint? Are you doing any tints for any lighter color Edge's? I just think if I went too dark with my paint color it could be too much? thanks

I am a proud owner of a 07 AWD sage Edge. I love this place I am addicted it seems I am coming back everyday lol. I have already met alot of nice people. If I had to say something negative about this forum its the money I am spending on my Edge (ideas from the folks here), there are so many accessories you can buy for my car. I just bought HID's can't wait til I get them :hyper: If anybody needs information on the edge look for a cool guy by the name of LEX! cheers!

Thanks for your post, Know I can see what my Edge will look like The only thing that will look different from yours will be more black in my rims, don't get me wrong...your rims look impressive, I just like the more black and less chrome.
