Looks like I spoke too soon. Every time I disable the "Phone" option in my Bluetooth settings, Sync looses connection to my phone altogether. Not sure if it's an issue with the phone or Sync, I'll have to borrow someone's phone to see if it has the same issue. Thanks, akirby, I'll see if that's suitable in the meantime.

Thanks all. For the record, I have an Android phone, and I went into the "Bluetooth" settings, found the device ("Sync"), and unchecked "Phone" like Rebecca said. I'm not sure about how to do it with an iPhone, but it's probably similar. And akirby, I prefer not to use speakerphone, it's just a pet peeve. I use a headset when I'm on the phone while driving, and I find it makes it much easier to understand, and be understood by, the people on the other end.

I just bought a 2013 Edge, and I've been trying to find a way to connect Sync to my phone to stream Audio Media (music, audiobooks, etc.) but NOT allow it to conect for phone dialing/text functions. Is this possible? Even if there's no direct method of doing it, is there a workaround I could use, like disabling some features while the car is in motion? Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance!
