Do you know if Edge is offered somewhere in the world in left-hand traffic version? That one will definitely have the passenger side convex mirror with a specific part number that can be ordered from any Ford catalog... But where from? India? Australia? South Africa?

APIM? hmm... It just does not start with the vehicle (the screen remains black). Stop/Start brings it back - I am running keyless, so I actually need to perform full stop in order to shutdown the ignition. And it happens once a week... rarely enough so I cannot show it at service, but I will mention it during the upcoming servicing appointment.

How often does it happen to you that you take off and just when you enter the HWY, you realize the screen in the console is off... ? Is there any way to turn it back ON while driving if this happens? The only way I know is to pull over and stop/start the car, which is not always possible if you have just jumped on a highway... And of course it is impossible to repro at dealer... Any ideas how to deal with it?

heated steering wheel?! :D mine does not come with buttons... but it is Sport, not Limited: I will report it during first service and see what they come up with... Both - FM radio and heated seats are listed on my delivery papers as working, so I guess they need to fix it

LOL... all radiostations around here have RDS... English (no Arabic RDS seen so far ). Thanks for the heads up, Omar! My GCC spec comes with heated seats that dont heat - I wonder if this is also disabled on purpose...

Guys, is there anything specific to be configured to be able to turn the RDS feature on? I click RDS "ON" button in radio options, it thinks for 10 seconds, and it goes off again...

guys, one silly question - is there an OEM Xenon light setup available? I see that HID conversion is quite popular on this forum (and I cant say I dont know why - lights in EDGE are poor, especially when it's raining) - I was wondering why doesnt Ford sell these as standard in Limited or Sport version?

Just got my brand new Edge Sport from Saudi Arabia... and it was one of the worst sales experience you can think of... how can you sell car that is not only dirty but has 25miles on the odometer - and yet they tell you it is a brand new one, because the foil wrap is intact. Folks in the Middle East still need to learn a lot in terms of customer relationship...

Hi there, maybe a silly question, but is there a law forcing US manufacturers to put flat driver side mirrors? I was surprised how little you can see in the driver side mirror... I thought one might get used to it, but the blind spot is just ridiculously large... Does ford offer a replacement convex glass for Edge?
