  1. snake456, I also suggest making an appointment with your dealer. You can have someone in the service department try the phone on a different vehicle as well. Let me know how it goes. mcali6301, Were you able to go to the dealer? Shaay
  2. mcali6301, I understand, but this isn't the experience I want for you. During your next scheduled maintenance, I recommend mentioning this issue to your dealer. Please keep me posted. Shaay
  3. Hi snake456, Have you tried any of the suggestions posted by Rebecca? Shaay
  4. Hi ccatex@gmail.com, I can help with this. Log into your Owner account to check for updates: Owner.Ford.com Once you're in, select the SYNC & HOW TOS tab then select CHECK FOR SOFTWARE UPDATES. You will have the option to download the update to a USB if it is available for self-installation. Shaay
  5. Hi drpepper, Do you have a case created for this concern? If not, PM your full name, VIN, best contact number, email address, mileage, and the dealer's information. I will get this escalated to the customer service manager for your region. Shaay
  6. Red2149, I responded to your post here: http://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/18357-bluetooth-audio/?p=134153 Check it out. Shaay
  7. Hi Red2149, I don't recommend pulling the fuse without consulting with the dealer. I know you're trying to stay away from the master reset, but it is the best thing to try initially. If you continue to experience issues, I suggest making an appointment with the service department. The instructions for the reset can be found here: http://owner.ford.com/sync-technology/pair-your-phone-sync-myford-touch Please keep me posted. Shaay
  8. Depending on the vehicle warranty start date, the MyFord Touch APIM (Accessory Protocol Interface Module) will be covered under the limited extended warranty. If you're unsure of your vehicle warranty start date, shoot me your VIN in a PM and I'll look it up for you. Rebecca
  9. Hi mcali6301, I'd like to help get to the bottom of this issue. Are you able to try another phone? If not, you have the option to go to the dealer to try one of their phones. Let me know, so we can move forward. factor99, I'm glad everything is going well. Thanks for sharing. Shaay
  10. Hi mcali6301, You mentioned that these issues are only minor, but I still wanted to provide some basic troubleshooting tips that may be helpful: http://owner.ford.com/how-tos/sync-technology/myford-touch/get-started-with-sync/troubleshooting-tips-for-sync-with-myford-touch.html Let me know if you have any questions after reviewing the link. I'm trained to provide only basic information about MyFord Touch; however, I encourage you to reach out to the dealer for technical questions about how the components are set up: http://owner.ford.com/dealer-locator.html#/ They should be able to provide a little more insight. From what you've described, your MyFord Touch APIM (Accessory Protocol Interface Module) should be covered under the extended warranty for a total of 5 years. Coverage starts on the warranty start date, regardless of mileage. If replacement of the APIM is required, and your vehicle is within the indicated time limitations, your dealership has been authorized to replace it free of charge (parts and labor). Kim
  11. Hi drpepper, That message usually does not indicate an MFT concern, and a master reset will not correct it. Since backup camera concerns are out of my scope, I suggest contacting your dealership so they can diagnose and correct this for you, or Tricia here: http://www.fordedgeforum.com/user/29146-fordservice/ Hope this helps! Rebecca
  12. Hey Battiste2, Waldo is on the right track. Is your system working now, or does it still show that you're in Michigan? Also, can you please look at the SD card and provide the version (A4, A5, A6)? Let me know and I'll assist. Shaay
  13. Hey mcali6301, jmr061 has the right idea. You need a B series SD card. The latest version is B6. You can purchase vailable updates here: www.navigation.com/ford Shaay
  14. Hi trsundstrom, To get those directions downloaded, you press the VOICE button and summon SYNC SERVICES. Once you have Services connected, you'll want to say DIRECTIONS, and when prompted, say the name of the saved point you just setup. It'll then ask if you want to download it; say YES and once they are downloaded, the route will appear on your navigation screen. Please note, you have to have a subscription to SYNC Services in order to use the SYNC Destinations app. Give it a try and let me know how it goes! Rebecca
  15. Hi Julien Gauthier, Unfortunately, I don't see a picture attached (it may just be my PC). Where are you getting the file not found message? It sounds like you may be trying to update the navigation portion of MyFord Touch, which gets updated when you perform the SYNC updates. If that's not it, let me know and we'll go from there. Rebecca
  16. It's me again! I just want to clarify a few things: I don't have all of the details on what the fix entails, but this is something only your dealership can do. Please check with them before you have anything done to see if there will be a charge for this. MyFord Touch will not allow you to re-install software, but a dealership can re-install updates. The system is designed to see that you have the latest software and not go any further with the update. The limited extended warranty covers the MyFord Touch module (APIM) and software updates; this issue may not be covered under that and it's always best to check with your dealer before having any work performed. Rebecca
  17. Hi wes8398, Like omar302 stated, your dealership has a fix for this. Please make an appointment with them to diagnose and correct it for you. Let me know how it goes! Rebecca
  18. Congrats, trsundstrom! Let me know if you have any questions about MyFord Touch, and if you haven't done so already, head over to Owner.Ford.com to create your Owner's account. There's lots of great info about your new Edge on there. Rebecca
  19. Which SYNC system do you have, AZDiddy? Here's a link to help you determine which one (just in case): http://owner.ford.com/how-tos/sync-technology/all/get-started-with-sync/how-to-identify-your-sync-version.html Fun fact - with all of our systems, you can press the VOICE button on your steering wheel and say BLUETOOTH AUDIO to access that source. Rebecca
  20. Some phones will do this if you have the lock screen with a passcode setup. If possible, try removing the phone lock while you're connected to SYNC. Rebecca
  21. Hi jlanha01, Which SYNC system do you have in your Edge? Here's a link to the different systems: http://owner.ford.com/how-tos/sync-technology/all/get-started-with-sync/how-to-identify-your-sync-version.html Once I know which SYNC system you have, I'll send you some troubleshooting steps. Rebecca
  22. You're welcome! The V3.7 software is primarily designed to support new features not available on model years prior to 2014 as well as features in markets outside North America. In the spirit of Globalization, we have included North American owners of 2014 MY and newer vehicles should they choose to update their system. Rebecca
  23. Hey everyone, I just want to jump in and clarify a couple things. We will update MyFord Touch in the future as needed, and we'll continue to work with Microsoft. Version 3.7 is for 2014+ MY MFT vehicles. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. Rebecca
  24. This link should be helpful, dynamix1: http://owner.ford.com/how-tos/sync-technology/sync/get-started-with-sync/troubleshooting-tips-for-sync-and-sync-with-myford.html?sync=sync If you have any questions about the troubleshooting tips listed, don't hesitate to ask. Kim
