Hi Blastvalve, SYNC 3 has another reset that won't erase your settings. It's called a system reset: www.fordservicecontent.com/Ford_Content/Catalog/owner_information/SYNC-3-Supplement-version-2_sycsy_EN-US_10_2015.pdf The instructions are on page 113. Try this, and let me know how it goes. Shaay -

Apple iOS apps and Sync

Hi commbubba19, You're correct. MyFord Mobile is only for electric/hybrid vehicles. You're able to use AppLink with your iPhone; however, Apple requires the phone to be connected via Bluetooth and USB: https://owner.ford.com/how-tos/sync-technology/sync-3/applink/how-to-use-mobile-apps-with-sync-3-and-applink.html Also, the only apps that will be available are the compatible apps. You can find a link to the catalog in step 5 of the link above. Hi luxpow, You're correct. Android devices keeps the apps running in the background until you force quit it. However, iPhones must have the app running in the foreground. Shaay -

Hey everyone! When using AppLink, the app should be open and running every time.
