Nope, not like those. I'm talking about the factory headlight housings with an HID projector retrofit, not an aftermarket housing with a halogen projector. All the aftermarket housings look like crap imo

To add on to what pascal was saying, you could use an HIR bulb as replacements. 9005 swapped with an hir 9011, 9006 with an hir 9012 I believe. The only modifying needed is to trim the center tab on the bulb itself. Being these are still halogen bulbs there will be no glare or hotspots such as is common with HIDs placed in HALOGEN PROJECTORS. This is due to the fact the light from the hir bulb is emitted in the same location as the stock halogen. Search google and YouTube to see some comparisons and data people have collected. I already removed my wife's hids from her highs to use a set of new HIRs. Might be a little off topic, but food for thought anyways.

Alright, so I'm new on this forum but not new to forums and the modifying scene. A few months back we installed hids on both my truck and my wife's edge. Love how bright it "seems", but would rather have them in proper housings. That said I have been looking, unsuccessfully, for anyone who may have attempted to retrofit an hid projector, such as the morimoto mini, into a stock 2007 edge headlight assembly. It looks like there should be more then enough room, but I'd like to be sure before I start cutting up her housings. If not I may have to tackle this and let you all know if it works. If not...well they will work in my truck
