Has anybody undercoated the door, fender and other cavities to reduce engine and road noise? Thoughts? Recommendations?

Just purchase an Edge with the Vista Roof, but was unable to add the Roof Side Rails. I'm going purely for the look and don't need the cross bars. Anybody know if it's possible to install the side rails with a Vista Roof?
