Well went down to the dealer today and it seems there is a problem with the brake booster causing loss of brakes.. I tried to get more info around it but they where reluctant to talk about it but claimed an "upgraded part" is been shipped in VVVIP fast from the US to Dubai so obviously they are aware of the problem but refused to comment any further on the subject. No one got killed yesterday but maybe that's what it takes for FORD to admit there is a problem.

Hi I got a 2012 Edge Ltd, done 8500 miles. Yesterday I noticed that I had to apply greater pressure for the car to brake. Today while driving, the car has NO BRAKES whatsoever, the pedal is completely numb. I was lucky to escape a collision and went for an open space and pressed parking brake. I was with my family and 2 year old son so it was a scary episode. Today Friday is weekend in Dubai and tomorrow I will ask the dealer to collect the car. Is there any known issues with Edges completely loosing all braking power, any callbacks or service bulletins? Thanks for any information
