I know this might sound dumb but pull harder, they are really hard to get off,I had to take mine off twice on the driver side and pulled so hard I thought it broke but it was fine.I used a flat tip screw driver and if you look at the clip it flares out just a little on the end, stick the screw driver in there and pull really hard, the clip might fly off but it cant go far,my clips were really hard and did fly off just like the one did in Dans video. There is no space between u clips with the factory pipes lights either, like I said if you look at the u clip it flares out just a little on the end stick the flat tip there and start pulling, the screw driver might slip off a few times but you will get the clip off, keep trying its not easy.

I do not have this problem but I do not have HID's and I also do not have my new DRL's hooked up the way the instructions tell you,I hooked the white wire from the new drl's to the yellow with blue stripe wire from the factory pipe lights harness both sides, this way my new drl's work with the courtesy function, and yes my turn signals in the new drl's light up momentarily when I lock or unlock the doors.

On my 2013 the wire I used for the courtesy lights to work was yellow with a blue stripe both sides but that is the wires going to the factory pipe lights,If you dont have the courtesy light set up I dont think you can do this,When you lock or unlock or open a door do any of your lights come on?If so then you need to tap into one of those wires,so if your parking lights come on when locking or unlocking the doors then you need to tap into the parking light wire going to the turn/parking lights. As far as the wheel well cover the way Dan has it no the cover wont come out if you take out the 3 screws it gives you plenty of room to get in there and change the light out for new lights and wire it all up,I have big hands and I had NO problem at all getting in there and doing the work, I did a very nice job at wrapping up all the wires and I DIDNT even use all the ties in my kit,and I had NO problem with the wire connecters that were in my kit,in fact they were better then the ones I already had. Now if you do hook up the new DRL's to work with the courtesy lights they will only be at 70 percent working with the courtesy lights, and also at 70 percent with the parking lights on,but they still work at 100 percent when all lights are off. I also had a hard time plugging the drivers side DRL in,had to take the light back out and then plug it in,still took a little work but was easier. For courtesy light set up you can do either one of these hook ups,Hook the white wire to the positive wire of the factory pipe light or the yellow with blue stripe wire going to the factory light pipes.

No problem with using my pic Dan,happy to have helped. The LH RH thing was no big deal with me just wanted you to know, its not hard to see which light goes on which side. I am going to try switching the wire so my lights come on like the old pipe light, like when you open the door or lock or unlock the doors, and yes even at 70 percent your Edge2's are brighter then the stock pipe lights. I also want you to know how much I like these new DRL's of yours, everyone I went by today that was driving a Edge was really looking at my DRL's.Great job

Just wanted to pop in and tell Dan I got my new DRLs from you and installed them, took about 30 min. and they look GREAT.The only thing I found wrong was they are marked wrong,The one that goes on the left side of vehicle is marked RH and the one that goes on the right side is marked LH,and that was no big deal, its not hard to figure out what side they go on.Other then that they are PERFECT and look BEAUTIFUL. GREAT product DaytimeBrightLites. I LOVE them. Thanks a lot Dan keep up the great work

I have a 2013 Edge SEL AWD and when I have my window open just a little or all the way down and Im going to pull onto the freeway or just step on it about 3/4 peddle the exhaust fumes will come into the cabin, anyone have any ideas why it does this? I looked at the exhaust system and I find no leaks. Never had a vehicle do this before ever not even the beaters I have owned. When I take it in for my oil change Ill tell the dealer about it but I wanted to see if anyone here could tell me something. Thanks
-
I do look at the oil monitor and its just about right with the 5,000 miles I go between oil changes. What I was getting at is most dealers tell you to change it every 3,000 miles and to me thats a waste of money when you run synthetic blend or full synthetic. It also depends on how and where you drive. Yes they are out to make money
-
The Dealer I go to uses synthetic blend and the sticker in the window says next oil change in 5,000 miles and that's all it says,so I get it changed every 5,000 miles. I have been told by a few dealers Ford and Chevy, its the same for full synthetic and synthetic blend, it should be changed every 5,000 miles, synthetic and synthetic blend oils tend to collect moisture that's why they say to change them every 5,000 miles.

I just installed my LED's in my puddle lights, these are the bulbs I used 2 x Car 35mm White 9 SMD 5050 LED Festoon Dome Light Lamp Bulb DC 12V NEW Those bulbs are to long and the led panel is to wide,I did get them in but it took some work,if I was doing it again I would find a smaller bulb. They are nice and bright and look great.

Well I just installed my puddle LED's. These are the bulbs I bought 2 x Car 35mm White 9 SMD 5050 LED Festoon Dome Light Lamp Bulb DC 12V NEW, Just so you all know they are to long and the 9 panel LED is to wide,so it took some work to get them installed, they are very bright and look great. On another note does anyone know how to get super glue off paint????

I figured it was ok, just not use to it.
