  1. no other local ford dealers to go to?
  2. well I finally installed some leds in the front map lights. They are more bluish and now I must find some that are more yellowish to match the rear. You can see the light difference here
  3. When I had my Magnum we created a Magnum page on facebook called "dodge magnums worldwide" it turned out to be a huge success for all the members on the custommagnums.com forums. I had created an EDGE page when I first got my EDGE but totally forgot to promote it... The facebook page just makes it easier to share pics or ask questions. Me personally, I'm not to fond of the setup of this board... So please come join the FB page if you want https://www.facebook.com/groups/fordedgedriversunited/
  4. there's nothing outthere, Eibach no longer makes springs for the edge either. Just H&R now. Custom air ride or springs are your only options!
  5. yeah the video really doesn't do it real justice though. Starting the LED conversion. Camera does not show the entire "fill" of the light, just more so the direct lighting but the whole rear is brightly lite and it's a lot brighter through the 10% from the outside than the camera lends it to be.
  6. you can use PlastX http://www.autogeek.net/meplclplclpo.html or scratchX http://www.autogeek.net/megscratxfin.html when I was restoring headlights and then putting them up for sale, I would use the ScratchX followed by PlastX if you have any other cars with yellowing/hazing headlights, here is a universal method http://www.custommagnums.com/forums/styling-mods/16854-how-polish-headlights-2.html#post260350 with that method I could turn these into these
  7. I was just looking for a vented rear instead of the solid piece...oh well...lol
  8. I wouldn't call it 7k, looks white to me. without any blue hue. I'll look again tonight. I was thinking about that one but I had already bought the other style from a different website, then upon my searching found the ones I bought $5. cheaper on ebay so, in trying to keep all the lights the same I didn't buy these. kinda like the Putco set up? http://www.putco.com/products.cfm?action=ProductView&id=9ac2d6b7-08ff-e25f-2db7-46b0cfa0a689
  9. what I traded in for the 13 Ford Edge 2007 Dodge Magnum, eibach spring and damper set, 22in Lexani LX-15 rims My daily commuter 2009 Chevy Aveo5 that makes my 110 mile a day trip!
  10. I couldn't find it in the search...do all the 2011 and up EDGE's have the same size rotors and calipers?
  11. yes they are a lot brighter, the pics really don't do it justice. each LED is putting out 3w for a total of 9w. Its crazy bright inside. so with just the trunk cargo and rear dome that's 18w of light, when I had the other 2 into the dome it will be 36w...
  12. From the album: jnhalstead photos

if only the wife would let me play with her EDGE...she wont let me do any real mods to it though!
  13. I had those in my Dodge Magnum and even with the lower roof line it didn't get the job done, which is why I went with these in the edge
  14. for the festoon bulbs I am using these http://www.ebay.com/itm/221245339925?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 I think my little work car, (09 chevy aveo) benefited the most though. the whole car only has two bulbs and even with the lights on I couldn't see my feet, now the whole car is too bright
  15. So I have been rapidly upgrading the interior of my 2 cars lighting. I'm only 50% done in my Edge as I have only the two front lights and then the ones you manually turn on and off in the back seat. The cargo area is done and so is the rear light that comes one when you open the doors. It's crazy bright now. my back windows are tinted at 10% and I could barely see in them with the stock lighting but this lights up the whole car. I'm not even done yet! Front View Inside Through the 10% Through the 10% in the Rear, I like this one cause it shows the stock bulbs in the front and you can see the color distance If anybody wants to know what LEDS I used just send me a PM
  16. no caliper covers here but the first thing I did within the first 200 miles was take the wheels off and wax the inside lip and outside of them. My brake dust just wipes off now. Also clayed/waxed the car before it even had 20 miles on it. Sonax makes a really good cleaner that wont harm the wheels finish like normal cleaners/degreasers http://www.autogeek.net/sonax-wheel-cleaner.html
  17. see this thread, though this only applies to the 2011-14 model sport rims http://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/12626-new-wheels-on-the-09/
