Just out of pure curiosity. Would you put transmission oil in your engine just cause it has the word "oil" in it? I'm betting that you probably wouldn't. Putting LED/HID into halogen based lighting follows the same concept.

So I know not all things are made perfectly and here's a few things I have found wrong with my Edge so far. Figured I'd start documenting it all and then start some trips to the dealership. Not in pics are 2 spots where the paint has runs that I found after waxing or the condensation on all 3 parts of the rear tail lights. Bottom Trim Middle Pillar Trim coming up at top Middle Window Trim doesn't seem to want to sit flush at the top corner Bottom Trim Odd bubble on hose By far the worse piece. It's warped Doesn't sit flush with the rest either Same on this side but not as bad This piece does the same as the other side, makes me think it's supposed to be this way, but the rubber has a lip that it looks like the trim is supposed to sit in and it's slid underneath the plastic pillar piece. This is crazy, only my passenger door is flawless with these bottom trim pieces. Again, the other door. Pillar trim coming off at the top corner. Different View.

The DRL has never been used on my car. Its like a wasted space

my remote start range is so good, I can't fathom being further away trying to start it. I always test the limits of the remote start. I always park at the back of the parking lot and always press the remote start right before or right after I walk out the store. I try it just once till I get a visual that it's not on then I keep attempting till I get a go. Total opposite of my 11 fusion. I have to be within a 10ft radius to even unlock the car!

trust your car, the hardest part is thinking your pulled up far enough but the sensors want you to be really far in front of where you are parking and like said, press the button before you even get to the spot your thinking about parking at.

Mehhh...current LED market doesn't offer better than HID output. Though without proper retrofitting your never gonna get the optimal lighting/usable light out of them. www.hidplanet.com for all your lighting questions

I experienced it today, I had wash mine, with no pressure and it was a pretty hot day here in Hawaii, first time I noticed it. I can only think of the long term issues with the lights since there are exposed LEDs in the tails and moisture is sure to shorten their lifespan. By the time I got around to my phone a huge amount had already evaporated but it's the droplets inside that concern me the most! every where you see on this pic that looks like a little cloud reflection is condensation all in the silver part of the pic is all condensation not clouds

yeah, well unfortunetly, there's only 3 main roads here and I can't drive them all in less than 3hrs.

Lane assist was cool when I first got it, now it's annoying I keep it turned off now, nothing like going through a turn and the steering wheel turning against you as your trying to cut the turn nice and sharp with speed

if your putting in HIDs to match the accent lighting I'd say about 5000k

Only vibration i get is lane assist. Though I no longer use it. Having the car steer for me is kinda weird feeling and me and the edge havent built that trust. I have 100% trust in its parallel parking though

I've followed Vaccars build on instagram. You guys should appreciate all these builds though. Edges at Sema means parts in the making!

I've had mine off but didn't weight them. You may be able to e-mail a seller on ebay and get them to weight one
