Advice with light
Nick Halstead replied to remsleep's topic in Glass, Lenses, Lighting, Mirrors, Sunroof (BAMR), Wipers
Im not opposed to installing HID. I'm opposed to putting the wrong bulbs with the wrong housings. For about $500. You could get a decent HID retrofit and having nicer light output than my factory HIDs -

Your side by side pic shows light bleeding you should have none with HID. Yes your lighting is better than your halogens. Halogen projectors are more forgiving with HIDS than most halogen lighting. Your cutoff is going to be horrid. No way your getting a decent cutoff running the wrong bulbs. -

This is Stock Sport lighting, decent for OEM but I'd gladly toss these projectors in the trash for a retrofit upgrade. The left is cut pretty nice so it doesn't bother oncoming traffic. The Mission and agenda...to get like this! -

Thats because most people with any kind of lighting knowledge or anyone who has spent 15mins on hidplanet knows that no matter what you do, you will always have a shitty cutoff with HIDs in Halogen based lighting. You don't have to be a lighting expert to know that. Its simple. Halogen projectors gets halogen bulbs. HID projectors get HID bulbs LED projectors get LED bulbs. Mixing any of these setups doesn't achieve optimal lighting. I'd love to see your cutoff 50ft from a wall. -
Ive had my rear lights off. Buy a set off ebay and wire them. I doubt the non sport/titanium come pre wired.

41k. Thats titanium/sport range. There is no LED DRL on the 2nd gens. The DRL is in the headlight housing

You don't want bleeding with HIDs. You want a nice crisp cutoff -
HID Swap

Im swapping projectors and tuning them if Im touching the HIDs. I find the oem perfectly fine. Decent cutoff with a hint of blue in the cutoff -
Have you looked at the 2.7 engine bat upclose? Its a plumbing nightmare for aftermarket companies. Intake is gonna be $400-600 due to this. Go look at the f150 2.7 intake options. Lots of pieces and thats a bigger bay with the motor sitting the correct way!

Not typically the best way to compare them. Way way too close to the wall -

Adding HIDs to halogen based lighting isn't safe at all... -

Headlight Improvements on 2015 Titanium Edge?
Nick Halstead replied to Denicio's topic in Accessories & Modifications
Color has nothing at all to do with blinding oncoming traffic. The blinding comes from you putting HIDs into a halogen based reflector that has a cutoff shield made for a halogen bulb. When you install HID/LED you have changed the way the light is projected and thus you have the blinding light for oncoming traffic or people in front of you at a red light. This setup is not as bad in most halogen projectors but still throws light at others. halogen reflectors require halogen bulbs, HID reflectors require HID bulbs and LED bowls require LED bulbs. Just like your Transmission takes Transmission oil and your Engine takes Engine oil. putting LEDs into Halogens is the same as putting Transmission oil in your Engine. -

2015 Ford Edge SE Front bumper OEM/aftermarket light install
Nick Halstead replied to edmonton.guy's topic in Exterior & Body
You just want the "signature" led light thay the titanium/sport have? There is absolutely nk advantage to having it. I'd honestly wait till a "cool" after market one becomes available. Myself, i'd ditch the LED for an actual fog light. -

I'm holding out for Corsa. Probably be about $1,200. -
Probably the best bang for buck so far is their Tuner. The numbers increase is amazing. With that said...are you unofficially confirming they are making other products in your post? I can't wait for an intake, but man...It's probably gonna have a hefty pricetag due to the maze of plumbing our 2.7 has. I plan on getting the tuner and then hopefully more exhausts are on the market. I'd gladly pay 1k for a corsa exhaust but I dunno if I can wait that long IF they decide to make one
