  1. Also, if you hear an odd rattle with music off, make sure your passenger seat belt isnt flipped and bouncing off the trim. Thats a general ford problem.
  2. The outside photo in my sig, looks real but it is a render I did. I'm still waiting for the green light for that. Wife isn't too keen on it plus the edge is her daily. The inside is done though.
  3. I just start pulling honestly, where it feels tight is a clip. Always pull/tug in the tight areas slowly. The 15up is by far the easiest interior I have taken apart. Not many bolts/screws. All snaps in which in turn creates noise. I'm gonna grab some felt eventually for areas I hear rubbing.
  4. Yup its a "cool" factor which is why majority SE/SEL drivers are upset. They aren't part of cool crowd. I know how it is. I had a 13 SE with no front DRLs and had to get the Drivebrights to look cool like everyone else
  5. If you really want to find a solution. Go take the cover off your hatch and see if the plug is on the hatch. I'll do the same on my sport. I have already taken it off but i didnt take pics of the plugs
  6. Ford probably isn't going to give uou a firection on this. Here is a simple way to find out. Take off the panel on thr hatch to access the lightbar. See if it's plugged in or if the plug attached to the hatch has nothing plugged into it. I'f I have time I will take mine off but I really wont be home till 10 Feb due to training.
  7. Do it yourself. I've almost had my whole 4n000 mile sport apart
  8. Just to bring LED back into light. This is a tuned LED from a 15 prius. Doesn't throw much distance but gosh that cutoff is amazing.
  9. Do you have fogs on in your pics? The light bleeding in the top left is why I ask. If you don't have fogs on, have you ever taken the drivers HID out? May not be seated correctly
  10. Couldn't go to my normal fence cause the edge sits to high. Here's my factory 15 HID cutoff. Note4 could capture the blue cutoff on the concrete but it did on a container I found. Factory doesn't have the best steps in the cutoff but it's also not the worst I'be seen either. 1st pic shows steps up close, 2nd from a distance.
  11. My oem 15 hids look nothing like a halogen cutoff...I'm going to assume you have an older Edge cause the 15up have a blue tint in the cutoff.
  12. No aftermarket company sells mass produced headlights with LED projectors in them. In fact every spec d/spyder/anzio/insert anyother cheap, ugly projector/led headlight maker doesn't even put HID projectors in their lights. They all come with low quality generic halogen projectors. If your headlights have truly a cutoff like that you need to tell the headlight world what you did cause hundreds have tried NOBODY has done it. Let alone you could sell them for about $1,000. Per headlight
  13. If you erase the user code all you have to do is enter the oem code. The oem code cannot be changed and user codes only add an easier # to remember. The oem code is never erased.
  14. Thats correct. If I had pnp hids laying around I would install them just to see the difference...but I dont.
  15. to clarify also, I tried to find a pic from about the same distance (120-150ft) I was from the fence in the photo. Tonight I went back with my Fusion (Halogen projector) just to get a comparison from the same distance and also close. I'll eventually go back and get a nice 50 foot(ish) shot with my Edge too. Fusion Halogen from same distance From about 50ft has a pretty flat cutoff the width of the car and then drops on both left and right sides. impressed, doesn't look like direct light is above that cutoff, ideally I wish I had a building around me to look at this more indepth but this gives a pretty good idea.
  16. They are labled correctly 99% of oem HID/LED do not come with a defined cutoff. Some oem setups can achieve a nice more defined cutoff with only swapping to a clear lens (swapping the actually projector lens you see when you look at a projector from outside). Though majority of oem projectors can be out performed by $40. Projectors from morimoto. Thats just a cutoff I googled on the bottom. The first 2 pics are my actual car.
  17. There is nothing "saftey" about the middleblight bar. If it was clearly a "safety" item every car on the road would have a light stretching the width of the car
  18. Cheapest place for oem cargo cover is on ebay
  19. they will bolt in but you will only be able to light up half of a 2011 tail light. 07-10 use 1 bulb 11-14 2 bulbs. Best option is what candurin posted
  20. there is no comparison between The Edge OEM HID and a retrofit My OEM HID retrofit Night and day difference between the two.
  21. Just looked, fusion uses same layout of buttons BUT the fusion attaches to a trin piece. Looking at the 2010 edge. It attaches straight to the wheel
  22. No but I did finally get the pieces off I wanted off. I know the buttons in my 2011 Fusion just pull out. dunno how the 2010 Edge steering wheel looks
  23. Just keep this thread going, allows people to go to one spot and follow or catch up
