Sticker on inside of Windshield
Nick Halstead replied to davidceder's topic in 2015+ Edge & MKX Generation II
Could get a custom sticker to go over it. I removed one on a previous car and was a drastic difference in color and wished I had left it -
Windshield Wiper Operation
Nick Halstead replied to davidceder's topic in 2015+ Edge & MKX Generation II
Rain sensing was great...but Ive since disabled it. It just destroys my rainx on the glass too fast. What the sensor deems needs wiped and what I consider needs wiped are just to far apart! Specially since I live in hawaii and get a daily dose of mist -

yeah that sticker is so low it doesn't bother me -
Not required to put recall fixes on title, the leaky edge is a thin line and doesn't always mean it was reported as a flood vehicle

Fog/Driving lights
Nick Halstead replied to Groundpounder's topic in Glass, Lenses, Lighting, Mirrors, Sunroof (BAMR), Wipers
this was used more for the reference of cutoff than distance wizard -
my driver side back door piece was never fully seated. it would always seem to come off. I had to completely remove it from the vehicle and remove tons of dirt stuck on the inside of it preventing it from sitting properly on frame of wheel well. after I did this, it hasn't came off at all and the dirt stops at the weather strip now instead of in the door jam. Though the one thing I hate about this car is the filthy bottom of the doors.

Fog/Driving lights

the pic I posted is a perfect cutoff for low beam set up. I have found that most people don't like the focused beam pattern of halogen projectors because they are used to stuff that looks like this high beam photo High Beams on. -

if you don't like the beam pattern it's because it's a projector headlight and your used to reflective housing headlights which throw light in almost 360 degrees. Projectors focus the light where it's needed instead of losing it to the sky. my question to you is, do you think this looks good? -

Yeah you would be amazed at how many lights CR doesnt like but yet in the lighting community we rate them as cream of thr crop. Halogen lights will perform the best in your projector. what was your previous car? most people coming from cars with non projector lighting always have a problem adjusting to the direct beam projector headlight -
whats the build date? I'd check to make sure it wasn't one of the flood recall vehicles

Ive contemplated this for a while. Currently my wrapped ones are still appealing to me. Though I may find the Ford script to go inside in a dark gray just for contrast
