  1. When I bought my Car, I didn't even realize I had lane keeping, so my first on ramp was a tug of war effort and I was like WTF...Haven't used it since
  2. sorry, didn't get back to you on FB, been working nights this week. With that said, I was going to do the same but, after researching TBolt clamps, I decided against it. Most Turbo shops don't recommend them. https://www.amsperformance.com/attachments/article/72/Worm_Gear_Clamp.pdf
  3. I know, do they know the headrest have like 5 different positions...I've never had an issue with a headrest
  4. pay attention to it, over time, it will more than likely start to crack and chip. Oven cleaner stripes the chrome right off, and the scuff it it, prime and paint.
  5. to get HIDs to look properly, you would have to open up your headlights. A member here can give you more advice if you have to cut or bake open the lights since he has same model Edge as you. Me personally, I'd buy some oem styled replacements from headlightdepot.com or somewhere and throw in the projector I want and maybe an LED DRL Tube. Use oven cleaner to remove the Chrome off the headlight trim so paint will have better adhesion, tint the sidemarker and maybe see how it looks without it completely, honestly, when you open your lights up, your options are only limted by your, budget and patience. http://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/21481-cmillz1331-2007-2010-hid-projector-retrofit/
  6. when it comes to headlights, being "bright" isn't a measure of how good your light is. I mean you could mount a flood light on the front and it would be brighter, but it makes a horrible headlight. Where your light is put is the biggest measure of goodness. When you park your car on he road. you should have ZERO light from your headlights in the blue box and have a pretty sharp straight line where the headlights start When you park 25ft from a wall, since spec d is considered an aftermarket projector and even though it's a halogen projector and people put HIDs into it. It's held to HID standards. When you park beside a wall, they should look like this, with a perfect straight line down the wall.
  7. I'm very confused on the changing the way you drive part. If anything, when one is driving for profit, the driving gets better. Driving someone around for profit is no different than me, my wife and 2 sons driving around the island, Shoot, my mpg has gone up a full tank since I started driving for Lyft and it's ALL high traffic city driving.
  8. I just haven't got to it. One day I will order some tint and get to cutting. Though, Hawaii tint fines are per window, and they take their 35% very serious!
  9. thats pretty funny but Geico told me the same exact thing that I wrote earlier on the phone, BUT Geico Hawaii isn't listed on the site, so that could be why. ideally, this rideshare insurance is just a way to milk more money out of people
  10. yes due to being on CD4 Chassis which switched to 5x108 in 2013 (Fusion) the 15+ Edge is 5x108
  11. as in what? It's no different than if you got into a wreck and you had a friend in the car.
  12. I made $$$ driving for Lyft all night in Waikiki in my Edge. Everyone was very pleased when they got in!
  13. Nice replica of the Vaccar Edge Intake, I would like to mention that Steeda is coming out with a version of this also that you will be able to buy for the Edge.
  14. Chinese Edge has a 3rd row and seats 7. Body wise, the UK/North American Edge is the same.
  15. Spec D uses low budget dollar store halogen projectors, yes HIDs fit, wont be best lighting though, your stock headlights probably work better tbh
  16. well it's a good thing this edge has a light coat, as you can clearly still see the chrome in the pic.
  17. that's the VTA mod, can find plug way cheaper locally
