yes, that's a risk everyone who tints there tails takes. specially if they go blacked out. Soldier in my unit plastidipped his STI tails (dumb) and a brand new 2016 Mercedes S600 ran into the back of him. sadly, the STI was at fault and paid almost $15,000. for 2 headlights/hood and paint work. This mod can be tastefully done though and still emit a ton of light. One thing going for the edge is the led and the race track lights up really bright

I solved this problem. I have zero keys attached to the fob and don't have the fob in my pocket when I don't need it there. If your out, why not just lock the fob in the car?

1st thing, switch the left and right bulb and see if the problem moves. If it moves, it's the bulb. If it doesn't move, then switch the left and right ballast. If that doesn't do anything, put the halogens back in, they had better usable light anyway.

forscan is the way to go, no need to touch any wiring. or buy diodedymanics leds, no need for resistors with them either

well I'm a bad example of how long does it take cause I've had it off about 50 times it seems. Also, the bolts inside the fender behind the fender liner are a pain in the butt. remove all the bottom screws, then fender liner, then inside fender liner (easier to get to these in the fender liner if remove the headlights) then remove the screws up top under the hood. this way it doesn't slam onto ground.

Just to inform you, the light that you hate, you are contributing to. It happens when people run the wrong bulb in the wrong projector and prevent the cutoff shield from doing its job of preventing glare into oncoming traffics eyes. A lightbar isn't going to do much other than attract your eyes to the front of the vehicle while driving.

you don't have to take the grille apart, you just have to remove the front bumper. The emblem is bolted on. Really can't mess it up. though if you don't have any torx bits or screw drivers its gonna be hard. Rear emblem, just slide some fishing line behind it and it pops off, reapply with double sided tape

I'd get different plates, unless your really customized the only way they will know its the same car is 2 things, 1 the location of job and 2 the plates #s
