  1. Thats the info I was looking for, they used your car to fix the rear parking brake info. Prior to your setup you would have lost the parking brake
  2. yes the stock setup is utterly horrible. I think fords theory on the edge since room is so tight was that, it doesn't matter it's going through the Intercooler, but man if you were getting the coolest air possible to the IC it's less work!
  3. I live in Hawaii, we don't have humidity and temp doesn't change that much outside. But yes, ran basically the same concept. Open filter in the bay and through datalogging and my dash mounted SCT X4, no IAT temps really change much and this is while doing 6plus straight hours while driving for Lyft. The OEM intake draws in air from a blocked/sealed off portion from the grille, it does not get direct airflow but simple air that finds it's way into the space.
  4. FWIW, the OEM intake is a WARM AIR INTAKE in the 15+ SPORT, This open filter setup only yields slightly higher temps while driving. Of course at idle the temps are higher than normal, but while driving there is barely any difference, I tested this out for almost a month.
  5. Nothing is ever good enough for Leo...
  6. now I'm really confused cause, Loren tried very hard to sell me this kit in Nov of 2015 assuring that it fit OEM rims. I'd rather spend $6,000. on something else https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B8epPWB6ZdvaclljVG9UZkJMY3F0ODIyYnM4SmRUd0NmMGNN/view?usp=sharing

  8. This post has me really, really confused, These aren't new. Rotora has had them for sale since the Sema show almost 2 years ago, along with their SS brake lines for the Edge.
  9. yes after about 100-200 miles get your alignment done. Wont need anything else
  10. other than spring rates being different due to the weight not much. I used the Fusion How to on the Edge, Though, Aaron Vaccar did use a CD4 Fusion Air Suspension kit for his Edge he said a piece had to be created/modified to get the rear to work.
  11. I can confirm they fit the FWD, as I had the first set ever made for the 2nd gen.
  12. those wont work, thats just the front piece, you would still need the back piece.
  13. heated steering wheel can be added but will include a totally different wheel and another piece, there's info on this somewhere. then will also need to change as built data via forscan. heated steering wheel should be listed on every vehicle the has it. if it's not on the window sticker, I'm 100% sure your not getting it.
  14. pro detailers still use meguiars products. most detailers don't really use any off the shelf product. No pro detailer is going to use a harbor frieght DA, but it's all about starting somewhere. I'm a big Griots guy, but I have a Chemical Guys Torq10FX polisher, not a fan of their products but enjoy the entry level polisher. I'm also a big fan of Gyeon products also.
  15. your at about 5 years so yes, I'd replace. There are cheaper options available to you. cheapest is the morimoto D3S which is a great entry level replacement while almost performing to the CBI standard https://www.theretrofitsource.com/components/bulbs/d3s-morimoto-xb-hid.html?carDisplay=2012+Ford+Edge+%28HID+Equipped%29&preselect=&preselect_restrict=1 2nd option and probably the best option in the industry is the CBI https://www.theretrofitsource.com/components/bulbs/d3s-osram-xenarc-66340-cbi.html?carDisplay=2012+Ford+Edge+%28HID+Equipped%29&preselect=&preselect_restrict=1
  16. why would you buy aftermarket 21s?? Go with 20s or 22s unless you like paying extra for odd tire size. Shoot the tires I would want for 21s are $600 for ONE!
  17. I will say that now that I have the air intake system back to stock, I can no longer hear the turbo's. The previous setup I used was the snorkel and bottom of the air box removed and the filter ziptide to the top. Strictly a sound mod. Also this ziptide setup I used only varied the intake temps slightly so the OEM Edge setup is basically a WAI from factory
  18. whats funny is, mine said MKS and I edited to MKX...lol
  19. I wonder if that mkx still runs considering it's an SSI tune
  20. No, 11-14 have to be cut open with a hot knife or cut very carefully with a dremel I'd stay very far from Francis, I wouldn't even recommend him to ISIS
  21. I totally agree, I took a S Apex on ramp at 70, had no idea at all I was going 70 till I looked down. No changes in ride comfort but an amazing enhancement of getting rid of that body roll. And well...it looks amazing now. I have the factory 20s, I'd imagine the 21s look even better.
  22. shit, I think he's the only North American Edge with Fog Light Trim, probably explains why I have none of the same issues
