  1. there are better systems, just not in North America due to current restrictions, USA is about a decade behind Europe in lighting Tech
  2. And to add on, if you like to mod your cars, your not doing anything to a 14 but, intake/ tune (still slower than a tuned 2.0 edge)/ exhaust/springs (that wont even look lowered)
  3. it still sitting on the clear coat, which will create friction, which will induce marring and scratching to the paint and the heat will possibly create premature clear coat failure
  4. indeed, no doubt most would take the newer car, but it's very very very intriguing that the 14s in some instances are out valuing the 15s
  5. a 2017 SQ5 with Audi Care still has lots of free maint/free services/free oil changes left on it and (personal experiences here) a way better dealer experience.
  6. see I don't know if I'd consider that good that the 15 is mid/low 20s since, most 14s are in the same area. Shoot. The 15 edge initial value dropped to mid 20s almost after 1 year of ownership, I guess the plus is it has held that spot. 2014-2015 Ford Edge Sports Across USA under 45,000 miles
  7. please don't tie it so the ties rub on the clear coat, that is just asking for trouble.
  8. you would have to start shopping New Edge Vs Used Vehicles of a higher tier. 2017 Audi SQ5 falls in low $40k range (A vastly bigger aftermarket community also). May be others around the area, not to familiar with anything other than Audi and Ford though when it comes to SUVs. If I could take this SQ5 (click link)s, engine/brakes/Wheels/interior and put it on the exterior of my Sport, I'd be extremely satisfied. As a big Audi fan I hate all their SUVs styling except Q8 and 2019 SQ5.
  9. I didn't say you could. I'm pretty blunt and honest when it comes to my vehicle ownership. I''m just telling you, what I think it's worth, through my experience. Value is really just a number someone comes up with anyway. I just sold a pair of Adidas for $700. not everyone is gonna see value in that. Which is fine. Love my Edge, but my 2013 was leaps and bounds built better across the board than the 15+ I'm still seeing the same misaligned panels on 19 Edges that were pointed out in 2015. Then factor in my Edges 7 months total sitting at the dealer to fix the same thing 4 times, mainly dealership issue and no so much Edge but you still have people going back for 3 and 4th oil pan replacements. pretty soon, they wont be covered under warranty and the Edge is looking like a nightmare to maintain outside of warranty. Ford is pretty smart for having a low 36k warranty cause thats the earliest date profits comeback to the company.
  10. hello and where in PA?
  11. yeah caliber wasn't their best effort, I dunno what they were thinking. They need to just bring the Neon back.
  12. Same vehicle, ST is priced more due to the upgrades to the Sport. BOTH vehicles are overpriced, in hindsight my almost $50k 2015 Sport should have an actual MSRP of maybe $32k
  13. I don't like the screen cause it does not retract, but I know Ford put it there for line of sight, you don't have to look down off the road to view the screen you can easily view the screen and road. It's hideous, but it has it's purpose. I actually love the minimalist design of the Explorer button layout, reminds me of my Audi, it's not over cluttered and gives you everything you need. With cars no longer coming with CD players, it frees up a lot of space! Dodge reliability is still shotty, if you have a good dealership you should be good to go. I mean their warranty is longer than Fords, so that is a plus! though their 8spd transmissions in the SRTs are freaking amazing!
  14. have to buy new ones https://drivebright.com/shop/ford-edge-led-drl-kit-with-built-in-led-turn-signal/
  15. invest in a home security system with cameras
  16. just to throw some variation into it. 15 Edge Sport, tuned for last 40k miles. I get 20mpg, my wife gets 23mpg, island driving in Honolulu/Waikiki traffic. Edge has never seen anything but premium fuel since initial dealership tank
  17. well these are from my 2015 back in the day. Dealer said they couldn't fix any of them cause as they walked around the lot, all the Edges had the same issue so it was deemed "Normal" I also have 4 places with runs in the paint. That I chose to not have Ford fix because the average person wont see them unless I point them out and Ford will never be able to match the factory tuxedo black.
  18. yeah, I guess I deleted half my text while submitting. I've had the Toyo's for over a year, good tire. was stating the the blaque diamond wheels only weight 44lbs per wheel. Dunno the weight with tire. But if I remember correctly, with tire, the factory 21s weight 72lbs at proper air.
  19. I have same Toyo's for over a year now. 44lb's per wheel, def less than the 72 of the factory 21.
  20. if current Edge trend continues, wont see changes until 2023
  21. I'm never sitting back there riding around, don't even miss them. Never ever used them either. I thought about felt but the current solution on hand was to yank them out. They are sitting wrapped in that towel near the spare tire. If this RS7 or S7 crosses my path and the Edge meets it's fate, I'll snap them right back in.
  22. it took me 2 years to locate my rattle with the subwoofer. Once I removed these, that I don't use. it was gone
  23. it's the hooks that hold the netting, I removed them from my car, no longer rattles
  24. just doesn't fill enough for me. what really kills me is I like the none sport rear valance better because it gives more options to mod and flows better. Ironically, my 2013 Edge came with 4in tips from factory.
  25. every ford I've owned that has a front plate has been installed with Rivets leaving nasty holes
