A question for you...? Whenever I get out of the car, while its running, like to run my daughter into her school in the morning, the car beeps twice, telling me my key is with me etc..., is there a way to defeat the 2 horn chirps every time i get out?

I'll do, for my first fill up, a tank of 87 in the Edge Sport, and thereafter I'll do a tank of premium. I need a little more time behind the wheel, its literally been 5 days. I want to test it out, see if there really is a difference that I can feel in the initial launch etc... when going from a stop or attempting to pass.

Mine had 6 miles on it when they drove it up and had it ready for me. Its not the first car I've bought from them so they knew from 11/11 with my Mustang that I dont like them doing anything but removing the plastic and allowing me to do the rest of the new car prep myself. I adamantly told them to save the time detailing the car etc... I get it done myself at my buddies place who details exotic and high end luxury cars before they're detailed to new owners. Cant trust everyone with your paint, especially mine which was black!

Thank you, I believe the puddle LED lights and the license plate LED lights are in the mix also, along with the Accel performance coils for the 3.7. I also need to install, or have installed, the HID kit as I dont know if my mechanical savvy will handle it too well. I think I'm also going to black out the chrome strip on the front utilizing the 3M black gloss metallic vinyl (thanks Dingo).

I think the variance in octane is a good point but matters more so in the Edge with the ecoboost motor. In the 3.5 or 3.7 it might help with mileage perhaps, but you wont see any real increase in power.

Believe it or not, the original truck I was looking at was a Raptor, I thought it'd be a perfect addition. I think perhaps I built it up in my mind, when i drove it, it was everything I expected but more, only in a very rough and rugged way. So I opted for the crossover instead due to comfort being a big part of it.

I'll get some photo's with my DSLR's once i get it all detailed and looking presentable. If anyone is interested in meeting up to have a twins shoot, let me know!

Yea, in comparison, the coyote motor wouldnt ever fit without some serious modifying to the entire firewall and a lot of the front of the interior. I guess thats just the way it works out, but imagine that, a Ford Edge Sport, no nonsense, 5.0 from the mustang with some semblance of an AWD system. That being said, I'll have those Accel coils very soon so we'll see if the butt dyno returns any results.

The parts that will fit without issue, the Accel coil packs and the 73mm throttle body, barring you have an intake that can handle it. I think the throttle body spacer can work also. So far thats really it. I have the 2012 Mustang GT, I've been wondering if I can get the coyote engine in it!

Thank you, so far so good, I have about 80 miles on it and its so comfortable and so automated, I dont even know where to start! Thank you for the welcome, I've been reading and reading, lots of good information here! I purchased a 35watt DDM kit yesterday evening, I have my amp and sub ready to go and I have an appointment this week to get the passenger/driver windows tinted like the rest and to get a nice professional detail. I didnt let the dealer touch the paint outside of removing all of the convoy packaging. I can say this so far, the only odd thing I've come across so far is the SD card slot. Its not a big deal as 99% of my driving is done without navigation, however the fact the SD for the navi must stay in for it to function is a bit of a fail on Fords part for not building in the memory of the Navi and updating it through sync etc... but, that being said, I use my own SD card in there or will most likely buy a larger pair of USB drives and transfer it all over to that. So far so good. I want to cover over the chrome strip above the headlights & grill, I'm just debating what to use, gloss vinyl perhaps being I'm tuxedo black...?

Ladies/Gentleman, I just picked up my 2013 Ford Edge sport in Tuxedo black with entry, vision, navi, roof and all-weather mats. So far, I love it, its very all-inclusive. I opted not to sit at the dealership for two hours to have the guy attempt to sync my phone, so i just got my paperwork stuff done and left. Its nice, I like it, lots to discover. I asked them not to clean it or do anything with the paint, I'm a bit of an OCD type with paint, i do my own details etc... but its beautiful and I'm happy. I dont want to mod it a whole lot but I'm gonna get HID's for the headlights, will tint the 2 front windows and put my Alpine amp and my Type R sub in there. Thats about it.
