I got the MGP covers. I think they look great. $180 on eBay. It took 10 minutes to install and with the sport rims you don't even need to take the wheels off to do it.

2012 Edge Sport Trailer Hitch
Swatman27 replied to Fatstrat64's topic in Cargo, Hauling, Roof Racks & Towing
I had the Curt hitch installed. They did have to make a small cut to the facia but you cannot see it at all and the hitch looks great. Here's a pic... -
HIDS Help - DDM Tuning.

I really like the kit. I have had zero problems. I got the 9006 4500k set. No harness at all. Shipping took about 2 weeks. Actually, after I installed it, and made sure I liked them, I order another set just to have a backup because it does take 2 weeks for shipping. I also used Ddm on a previous vehicle I had and almost 2 ad a half years on the same lights and not one problem. I have since sold the car so don't know if they are still good, but 2 and a half years isn't too shabby. I wouldn't go higher than the 4500k. Anyrhing higher has too much blue. I have the 4500k currently and have had 5000k in the past and would recommend the 45000k all day. It may be different for other brands but for DDM 4500k is the way to go. -
Yes it is

HIDS Help - DDM Tuning.
Swatman27 replied to RobbN's topic in Glass, Lenses, Lighting, Mirrors, Sunroof (BAMR), Wipers
Ok so I decided I couldn't stop thinking about it and couldn't sleep so I decided to go back out to the garage. But I fixed the finger!!!!! I took each bulb out and rotated it one tab clockwise. So as someone posted earlier, the tabs don't go in with the small tab at 6 o'clock, rather all tabs are rotated clockwise by one tab. Now I am finger free. And the light pattern is perfect. -

I just installed my ddm tuning 35W 4500K HIDs tonight. I got the bulbs in without too much time but it didn't fit perfect. I am having the same problem as Robbn though. I have the finger in the same position on both lights. I put the bulb in exactly to match the housing. Did you ever get rid of the shadow? It's not too big of deal but if its not perfect I won't be happy so I will end up trying to get the shadow out of there this weekend. The HIDs look awesome and I'm glad I went with the 4500K -
It's not a whole new emblem. It's just an emblem overlay. It is a thick vinyl sticker that just goes right over top of the existing one

I actually didn't get the steering wheel emblem. But now that you mentioned it i decided i want one so I just placed the order. Lol

I am not sure of any place for that but I honestly didn't look too hard. I was too nervous to break it so I just used the overlays.
-
You can also get those on the website as well.

For some reason they don't have the Edge listed. But I did some research and found that the 2011-2013 Ford Explorer and the 2011-2013 Edge have the same size front and rear emblem. The front and rear are different sizes but when you order the gel overlays from dmb.uk.com, it includes the front and rear overlay. Both front and rear fit great. Total was like $32 but the website is in Euros but I just paid with PayPal and it converted it automatically.

I just used an overlay for my emblem. I got it from Dmb.uk.com It's basically a sticker that goes over the original logo. Fits great and looks great I got black background with chrome writing

Hey like I said, it doesn't affect me either way. But it's also insurance fraud to have your insurance coverage listed in PA if its garaged in NY. I have known a couple people's policies that were cancelled because the insurance company found out ( and their accident wasn't covered) Again man, I get it. I wouldn't want to pay that for insurance ever..... I'm just saying that its technically fraud Also, rental is not included in "full coverage" if you don't specifically state you want to add rental coverage, you won't get a rental if you're in an accident.

Oh some insurance is definitely a scam. But it is also getting scammed more than ever before as well. I can't disagree that $240/month is outrageous. Unfortunately that is part of the big city. I am the same age and I live in Wisconsin. And I pay.....$60.00 per month for Full coverage. I have some experience with insurance and I know for a fact, that two of the biggest things that cause insurance rates to go up is 1. Fraudulent claims... And 2. The risk and bad driving of the other drivers on the road. ( you're premium is more so based off of the bad driving of the people around you, rather than your own driving for the most part) The thing about your claim you could have reported it to insurance either way. However, by claiming a hit and run accident, it turns the accident to "not at fault" for you and effects the policy premiums of everyone in your area..... Instead of accepting fault for the accident and taking an "at fault" accident and only having it affect your own policy premium instead of everyone's. I hope that makes sense. Basically what I'm saying is that there are too many people that submit false or inaccurate claims and everyone's policies in that area are affected... Especially in a big city where there are many more claims... I honestly don't care either way but I'm just tossing my 2 cents in. We should get discounts for having sweet looking red caliper covers!!

Unfortunately, one of the reasons that insurance companies have to increase premiums is due to an increased number of fraudulent claims. Those claims directly affect everyone else's premiums.
