  1. In reading this, my take would be the following: Take the 400 hp TT V6 from the Continental (Make it 450+ hp) and couple it with a beefier AWD system Install the 9 speed trans Bang and Olufsen is a good choice. Revel is better. B&W is even better. LED Headlights Full leather interior No rotary dial shifter Offer a Manual transmission option Upgrade the steering for more feel and sharper handling without compromising ride quality See, I am not asking for much.....lol
  2. In IL, Nick's situation would definitely qualify for the Lemon Law. He would have gotten a new one by now. Nick: That is definitely a cluster of the highest order. I hope you find a good resolution.
  3. I think one took a rock to the side and one took a rock to the front.
  4. Not 100% gone but drastically lessened. As for what's been done recently..... Replaced windshield courtesy of a rock that hit it on the freeway Got oil changed In the cards: Power Steering flush Brake Fluid Flush Shopping for pads and rotors Shopping my lighting options
  5. They have actually smoothed out and have better bite in the corners.
  6. Getting ready for a power steering fluid flush Oil Change Note: The Kumhos are getting dialed in and roll much better.
  7. Not installed yet, Got headlight issues to contend with before installing the bar. But to answer the OP's question, The linked thread was for a member who would travel heavily through the Rockies and needed the light output. He put a single row bar in the top slot of the grille which actually worked for light output because there isn't an opening for airflow. As for me, I deal with highway travel through the mountains of AZ and need the light because of deer/elk. My setup was actually going to be mounted on a license plate bracket which would not interfere with airflow.
  8. Today, the vibrations were drastically lessened. I would not be surprised if those bushings were worn out. Too bad they don't have polyurethane bushings for the Edge.
  9. You'd be surprised at how many threads leave us hanging on here......lbvs
  10. Looks like I may have to take a trip to Discount today. The (not-so-good) vibrations have returned.
  11. If it is anything like the Explorer, they are going to get rid of the console or modify it because of the radios, shotgun, and lighting switches. The other thing is that they will still have to make sure it has a hi-po alternator because of other things like the video system.
  12. From the looks of it, I would have to check out Avery and a few others.
  13. I was checking into Black Chrome wrap for the grille and a few other pieces. The shop I visited said that the wrap (3M) would literally have a 30 second warranty and the cost to wrap all of the chrome would be north of $2100. I am wondering if anyone can find a less expensive option.
  14. Down here, you almost have to budget for batteries because of the heat. My last battery was from O'Reilly's and has a 5 year warranty and has 850 CC. On my last Edge, I had an Optima Yellow Top.
  15. Technically, I ride my bike along the path of two different canals. My norm is to load up on bug repellent.
  16. Figuring out budget(s) for lighting mods Getting quote for wrapping grille in black chrome (May look into wrapping B Pillars as well)
  17. I have gotten tagged in North Phoenix and parts of Chandler by the canals.
  18. However, since the tires are V-rated, I don't have to worry about heat buildup since I deal with temps from 100-120+ degrees this time of year.
  19. Taken from http://www.wheelspecialists.comlocated in Tempe, AZ
  20. The Yokos were better in that regard. Even when worn, they were pretty smooth. As for my taste in rims, I tend to pay close attention to how well a wheel goes with the lines of the car.
