  1. Sunday: Brake installation, Brake Fluid Flush, topped off power steering fluid. Today: Going to hit Discount Tire after work because we found a bubble on the inside of one of the Kumhos.
  2. Been rolling with Bosch ever since the early 2000s (aka period of Maxima ownership) and haven't looked back ever since. I do periodically claybar the windshield However, I am going to have a convo with my tint shop because it looks like the windshield tint isn't right.
  3. Ordered mine yesterday, including overnight shipping to AZ, for $269 from AutoAnything.
  4. I get calls and mail from my dealership for my 2011.

If you only had the headlight assemblies.....
  6. What part of AZ are you in? I am running a set of Kumho Crugen KL33s on my Edge. The biggest bang for the buck is that these tires are V rated and last 60k. So far, they are settling in nicely after a bit of a rough start.
  7. Seems like I am going to be the guinea pig for the Morimoto 2 Stroke LEDs. I plan to order a set shortly and let you know the outcome. Then order a second set for the wife's car.

  9. I am looking at this kit for my 2011: http://www.autoanything.com/brakes/power-stop-oek-ceramic-brake-kits
  10. Mac, I am not too far behind you in the mileage department. Mine is at 156,000 and still kickin'.
  11. I have used AIO plus AutoGlym's Resin Sealant and then topped with Pinnacle Souveran. Darth Vader's helmet was dull in comparison on a black Maxima.
  12. Looked at brake kits for the Edge and may be going with this: http://www.autoanything.com/brakes/power-stop-oek-ceramic-brake-kits I want to replace all 4 rotors and all pads in the process. This looks like the best bang for the buck.
  13. In my case, the following gas brands are used: Costco 91 Octane Shell 89 Octane I have never used anything lower than 89 in the Edges I have owned.
  14. As for the Edge, I am looking at the deal on AutoAnything for their brake kit.
  15. Gianelle Verdi There is an all black version.
  16. Mine is now throwing that "Low Oil Pressure" warning. However, the circumstances for mine are different. a) The engine still runs It seems to only happen when I am at the end of an exit ramp or on a slight incline I had the dealer check the oil levels and they were fine. They are speculating that the oil pressure sending unit may be going out. ....and, I top off on fuel and run the factory spec 5w20 semi-synthetic oil as well.
  17. Where I am does not have 93 octane. The highest is 91. Considering I run Costco, the sole choices are 87 and 91. I typically run 89 in the Edge but since Costco doesn't have mid-grade, I just run premium since the octane is not much different.
  18. As for me, I have owned 2 Edges thus far (2008 and my current 2011). Reliability: I can safely say that both of my Edges have been quite reliable. I have had one major repair with the 2011 (a/c compressor grenaded itself on a 115 degree day). However, the 2011 did have its share of niggling issues (e.g. master cylinder, door latch). Comfort: I am not a small dude by any stretch but found both Edges comfortable. The upgrade from my 2008 SE to my 2011 Limited was even moreso. I can haul our bikes in the Edge with the rear seats folded. Will I get another? Well, the Edge ST is intriguing me. However, I like the Edge Sport and MKX. However, the new Lincoln Nautilus, Expedition Platinum, and Navigator all are intriguing to me. Then again, so is the JGC Trackhawk......lol However, a 2011-2014 Sport would be a fun vehicle for me to customize as I see fit.

  20. Your story is like mine with Camaro ZL1s. I have driven a 5th Gen and am drooling over the 6th Gen.
