Is it normal for these vehicles to exhibit a wheel bearing noise toward the right rear? I had a friend with a 1st Gen that has a very loud noise. Now, mine is starting to make the same noise. What I am learning is that the fronts have regular bearings but the rears would require replacing the entire hub assembly. Could someone give me some clarity on this?

This is the first time I have used a PowerStop product. Guaranteed I will be back! These brakes have better bite than stock and ordering from AutoAnything was a breeze. My findings: a) You can tell that these rotors are higher quality than stock. They reminded me of the Brembos I ordered for my 1994 Maxima. They were definitely meaty. After bedding, they are so much smoother than the originals. So far, the pads have not dusted despite the amount of bite they have. However, these are ceramic pads. c) They will send the kit to you in two boxes. The heavier of the two is the front set. The lighter box is the rears. d) Some may say I went a little overboard with replacing all 4 rotors. Truthfully, I think it was a better decision because, since I did buy this Edge used, I wanted to ensure even wear and mitigate any potential issues down the road (Especially when driving back home on I-17).

Unfortunately, No. However, the new brakes have finally bedded and I am much happier with the performance. -

Nope. They were Duralast (AutoZone) I can believe that about rocks/debris. Especially since I had to replace a windshield recently. -

Speaking of Pirelli, I almost pulled the trigger on trading these tires in on some Scorpion Verdes. However, the price for upgrading would have been nearly $500. Replacing the Kumho: $25. I am almost inclined to see if I can cop that Bridgestone I am using for a temporary tire as a full sized spare. -
While we were changing the pads and rotors on the Edge yesterday, we found something interesting. First, let me fill you in on the details. A couple of weeks ago, I noticed that the Edge was sounding like an El Train in Chicago when I hit the brakes. Inside, I heard the sound of metal on metal. The noise was coming from the passenger side rear. When we changed the rotor, I saw where the inside looked like it was scored pretty badly. Then, I got to look at the pad and noticed that a sizable chunk of pad had sheared off which led to the metal on metal contact. I am wondering what would have caused part of the pad to shear off.

Sunday: Brake installation, Brake Fluid Flush, topped off power steering fluid. Today: Going to hit Discount Tire after work because we found a bubble on the inside of one of the Kumhos. -
Any Windshield Wiper Rec's?
PrinzII replied to chefduane's topic in Glass, Lenses, Lighting, Mirrors, Sunroof (BAMR), Wipers
Been rolling with Bosch ever since the early 2000s (aka period of Maxima ownership) and haven't looked back ever since. I do periodically claybar the windshield However, I am going to have a convo with my tint shop because it looks like the windshield tint isn't right. -
I get calls and mail from my dealership for my 2011.

2013 Edge Limited SMOOTHEST riding tire recommendations in 2018?
PrinzII replied to enigmakv's topic in Wheels & Tires
What part of AZ are you in? I am running a set of Kumho Crugen KL33s on my Edge. The biggest bang for the buck is that these tires are V rated and last 60k. So far, they are settling in nicely after a bit of a rough start. -
