Did you ever get your Edge yet, Edgy?

Other than the HID Debate, nothing much.

Two more candidates... MHT Vendetta Driv Entourage (May be dropped due to weight of 45 lbs/rim)

I'd rather go with an alarm/remote start system. However, I am aiming for a more potent system.

Another thing with rims is the type of look you are trying to achieve. For instance, I want a classy, but sporty look for the Edge which led me to rims such as the Asanti AF128.

I spoke with another dealer and he managed to save me a little coin on the Asantis. In fact, he has an AF128 in the store that had a black lip and gunmetal spokes from a Charger. I haven't asked about the Feslers yet.

I changed them to the lower inner corners and, since they were wedge shaped, I had the small part of the wedge pointing outward. That worked a lot better than having them outside. However, I have to replace one since it fell off somewhere. :angry:

What if you have an Edge without the sub?

Thus far, the HIDs have worked for me (despite the beam pattern) but I have not been blinked at when I have the low beams on at all. If I have the highs on, that's another story.

In my case, the tint came on our Edge and it's the legal limit in AZ. However, I am going to redo it because the person who did it at the dealer, did a jacked up job (bottom is peeling) and I am taking it to a shop in Scottsdale I have used previously. I am having them redo the windows and add the blue strip on the top of the windshield.

However, this is for other vehicles such as the F Series.

First Edge Issue (Minor): ~1700 miles I am noticing that the weatherstripping around my windows is sliding out on the sides. For some odd reason, it is not staying in place and slides out of its location. I am having the dealer check that out.

Not available for the Edge. F Series is definite, though.

a) Will do. I am interested in finding out where the amp resides anyway. If you look at it that way, I see what you mean. Hardcore it is.

Additionally, definitely make sure that the plug from ballast to harness is seated tightly. I had that problem when installing them but found it was the plug not being seated tightly.

Lex, One thing is that when you upgrade the speakers, you will want to upgrade the amp down the road. The beauty of what I am doing is that I don't plan to do everything right away. I am doing mine in stages, with the first stage being the head unit. My setup is not considered hardcore because I am not hacking any panels to install any of this equipment.

As for the confirmation, I did not confirm that (yet). I have to go to the dealer today and will probe them on that question. tiaquessa: Where did you put your ballasts? Lex: Do you plan to do high beam HID as well? I can honestly say that the lows work well but when the highs are kicked in, it adds a greater dimension to your visibility.
