  1. I wasn't talking about Elegantes. If he was, I would entertain it. It was the DDT:
  2. I actually took mine to the rim shop and she said, verbatim, "Are you out of your #$@%$@ mind?!?!" I still think she's going to faint when I get them installed.
  3. I actually have an offer on the table from the dealership we bought the Edge from. They want to sell us the Sporza DDTs in 22" for $2700 with tires. The shop I want to buy the Asantis from is charging $4700 with rims and Nittos.
  4. Definitely do that. As for me, I think I will need to keep some smelling salts handy for the wife. When she sees how much these things are going to cost, she's going to faint.
  5. a) Did you get Kooks, SLP, or Stainless Works headers for the TBSS? You know, the header thing has me thinking. I wonder what would happen if there were headers for the Edge. I wouldn't mind getting with Kooks or SW for that. I'll agree on that. c) Keep me posted as well. I want to add foglights to my SE. d) I have 6000k HIDs in both the low and high beams of the Edge. Needless to say, the wife and I love it.
  6. You and I are on the same page. I don't like busy wheels at all, regardless of vehicle. I have seen some 5 spoke rims on an Edge and agree they didn't look right because of thinner spokes. The Fesler gave a meaner look and has thicker spokes which might be workable. But, from the looks of things, the Asantis have won out because the design of the AF128 fits quite well.
  7. I am still trying to find that out myself because I want to do the same thing. I already priced the parts but I am not sure as to how the wiring is set up.
  8. The Feslers don't look bad, either. I have already seen an Edge with the Sporza DDT and thought that rim was a bit on the busy side.
  9. Question is whether or not your Edge is prewired for fogs. If not, I would anticipate things taking longer since you might have to run the wiring.
  10. I've already sourced the parts but I am still waiting for the answer to this question.
  11. Yes, I am planning to install factory fogs. The price includes the chrome backplate.
  12. For grins, can I see what the Fesler FS-901 looks like?
  13. The decision has been made thanks to Craiger's photoshopping. I am going with the Asantis. Problem is whether or not someone can send me smelling salts just in case the wife passes out.
  14. New mod: Foglights w/PIAA Crystal Ion I have sourced and priced the parts through http://www.teamfordparts.com/partlocator/i...m?siteid=214270 and it will run $229.22 for the parts. Now, who can tell me if I am pre-wired or not?
  15. Just found this courtesy of bbf2350: http://www.teamfordparts.com/partlocator/i...m?siteid=214270 Foglight Assy - $47.16 (2) Foglight Bulb back - $19.33 (2) Headlamp Switch w/Foglights - $24.04 Hole Cover with Foglights - $36.10 (2) Total: $229.22 Hmmmmm.......possible mod plan....:D
  16. Really. Your situation and mine would be very similar in that mine would also be a "toy" and I am also pimping the Edge.
  17. Another thing is that I may change my mind on painting the grille. I know that paint's not going to have the durability I am looking for.
  18. Mine did the rollback thing regardless of incline before I got the PCM flashed. Now, it won't roll back.
  19. Welcome to the fold. I hope to have a TBSS in addition to the Edge shortly. :D
  20. Case in point, the ones I have on the Edge are 35w and 6000k for both low and high beam. As long as you are in the 4000k - 6000k range, you should be fine. If you start going to 8000k, it gets more blue.
  21. Bigger question is whether or not you want to pony up the dough. I have already checked on them and they wanted more than $200 for the set. For me, I would have to shell out extra dough for the switch and maybe the wiring.
