  1. I am seeing an increase in the Edge population around PHX.
  2. I am seeing some of that in the door jambs of my Edge.
  3. I might have to go this route unless they come up with a kit: http://www.autobarn.net/piaa2193.html
  4. I started using Ultima's Interior Shampoo for the Vinyl and may use the Woolite/Folex for the Carpet. Folex can be gotten at any Home Depot Ultima can be gotten at http://www.autopia-carcare.com For protectants, I have been using 303 for over 6 years.
  5. Favorite Channels Me: 040, 045, 106, 124 Wife: 068, 106, 132 As for the cutting out thing, I do get it when I am going under overpasses or even parking underneath the carport. However, it may go in and out when we are around certain parts of Mesa. I initially thought it may have been such because of the power lines that criss cross the area.
  6. Exactly. It's not as hard as you think it is. It, unlike many things and Windows, is truly plug and play.
  7. I have seen the fake Powerstroke vents on the 3d Carbon Edge.
  8. a) Upgrading to cross drilled rotors would be more problematic. I haven't started that phase (yet)
  9. Glad you are safe and sound. Most importantly, I am more convinced than ever that my wife and I made the right decision in buying one just by those pics alone.
  10. It would be nice if the EcoBoost 3.5 (340 hp) was packaged in these.
  11. My wife and I plan to continue service but with the new head unit.
  12. I started to polish the outside of the Edge but the #@$%@ pollen kept screwing things up. I am going to revisit this next weekend.
  13. Phase I: Cleaning the Vinyl Product Used: Ultima Interior Shampoo Gel The Edge's vinyl was starting to get somewhat dirty which led me to tackle that first. Before starting that, I swept out the cracks and crevices using a detailing brush. After that, I swept out the vents using a different brush. Next, I removed the rubber inserts for the cup holders and the spot on top of the dash. I sprayed some of the interior shampoo and agitated it to remove any grime. Since this product is no-rinse, I just had to wipe it off. I then cleaned out the areas as well as the shifter console. After cleaning the shifter console, I wiped down the steering wheel and the vinyl on the driver's side door and the dash.
  14. SOMD: Did you get the lights installed?
  15. I had the alignment TSB done and it does track much better.
  16. Ugh!....I was hoping for the 3.5 L 340 hp EcoBoost.
  17. ...unless they plan to bring out the EcoBoost.
  18. Edgy: How is the quality of the repair? Most importantly, how is the paint since you have a pearlescent paint?
  19. My idle speed hasn't changed that I am aware of.
  20. Technically, the "oil" you mention is actually silicone. Many silicone based protectants do not provide adequate UV protection and, as a result, will crack.
