  1. Fly, I'll let the pictures do the talking.... If you decide to get a kit, make sure the ballasts are digital. Vendor on this forum: http://www.fordedgeforum.com/index.php?sho...amp;hl=HID+Kits
  2. I think I am going to just get the parts and buy a HID kit to tie into the stock system.
  3. There are no changes. I am going to be getting one of these for my wife's '08.
  4. My fingers weren't sore at all. Just tired as all get out. Butt was sore because I did not have a stool to use.
  5. I have been talking with the shop on these and the owner knows I want the lip. I am going to have a 2.5" lip on them. as for weight, I am sure they are going to weigh more than the Rays or the comparable Asanti AF128 (Maybe slightly less than that).
  6. Pics of my '02 Maxima after an 8 hr session using Klasse All In One and Pinnacle Souveran Part of the reason it took me 8hrs was due to me being "anal" and doing the following: - Claying the wheels - Applying Klasse All In One and Sealant Glaze to my rims - Claying the windows and sunroof - Claying the entire car Edge's predecessor:
  7. One of these days, I will have to take pics of the "stashes" in PHX and Chicago.
  8. Oh yeah, can't forget the polishers in my arsenal. - Porter Cable 7428 Rotary - Porter Cable 7336 Random Orbital - Ultimate Detailing Machine Random Orbital If you are looking to do some serious paint correction (read: swirl removal), you will have to invest in one of those machines, plus pads and polish. As for polishes, I have used the following with no problem on different vehicles: Menzerna Autoglym Poorboys (SSR Series) I also have Polycharged my Klasse and tried it on a friend's GMC Sierra. Does add depth.
  9. Before you took them back, did you try different ballasts? How did you connect them?
  10. The second Rays rim is pretty nice but we all know that those are going to cost some serious coin. I put Rays in the same category as Volk and Racing Hart because those rims are used mainly on tuner/import cars. As for me, I am looking at putting these on the Edge: KMC Dime Found these in a 20" plus the same Pirelli Scorpions that come on the Limited for $1700.
  11. Also, has anyone heard of a foglight kit that we can buy for the Edge coming out soon?
  12. Thanks for the review. This is on my list for when I install my audio system.
  13. I thought of doing the tweeter mounts on the A pillars but the airbags in the area dissuaded that thought. If you did it, how did you do it and do you have pics?
  14. Anyone interested in helping me install foglights on my Edge SE?
  15. New option.... mounted on Nitto 420S
  16. I have HID low beam and high beam with no flicker or issues. The only issues I had were with bad ballasts and that's it.
  17. This might be easier than previously thought. I thought about going 3000k yellow but I am thinking about matching the 6000k of the headlights instead.
  18. What is the relay I need to install the foglights on my Edge?
  19. Derek, I want the wiring diagrams so that I can install fogs on my SE. PM me with the information on how to get them.
  20. Additionally, the HID kit I am looking at has relay harnesses. However, I want to add the foglights without having to splice wiring on the Edge at all.

  22. Oh yeah, do you notice the constant buildup on the washer nozzle for the hatch?
  23. At ~ 15k, I have had to get a throttle body replaced because it would cut off at idle with the a/c going. Now: - Alignment Check (again)
