Cdpratt: Right now, I am in the research phase to determine the costs for this project so I can start stacking the coins. I did look at your setup and I like how you have the amps in the spare tire well. I would like to do that because I don't want to lose the ability to fold my seats down. With your sub in the spare, where is your spare tire? If there is a way to do that w/o losing my spare, I might be interested in doing that. I am also tempted to incorporate an EQ in there. As for mixing brands, are you saying that based solely on timbre? I know with home theater systems, you have to use the same brand of speaker for the center channel as you do the fronts because each brand may have a different timbre and can affect sound quality.

Polycharger is an additive that enhances what you are using. With Klasse, you use the water based version. Info can be found here: http://polycharger.com/
-
On top of that, I have the Polycharger additive for it.
-
I actually have two RO machines and two rotaries. I use the ROs for polishing my glass (Autoglym has a nice glass polish) and working the Klasse AIO.
-
Prb: Which Porter Cable RO (Random Orbital) did you get? 7424 or 7336? I would recommend the 7336 partially because of the larger counterweight which reduces the vibrations. BTW: Which pads did you get?

Cdpratt: I have used the Klasse products since 2001 and have not looked back. Over the years, I have used the following: Klasse AIO (All In One) and SG (Sealant Glaze) plus the following items: - Pinnacle Souveran Wax (Highest gloss with darker colored cars) - S100 Wax (Essentially the same as the P21S, but cheaper and can be bought at any Harley store) - P21S Wax I have used Klasse AIO and Autoglym's Resin Sealant and topped that with Pinnacle Souveran on a Black Maxima and that rig was shinier than Darth Vader's helmet....literally.

I am also in the East Valley. Where'd you get your Edge from? Berge? Sanderson? San Tan? Chapparal? Five Star? Earnhardt?
-
The current V6 reminds me of the VQ35DE in my last Maxima in terms of performance.
-
akirby, I would take the EB 3.5L V6 versus an EB 4 cylinder that makes that much power. Part of the issue is that of refinement. I like the smoother power delivery of the V6 versus the 4 cylinder. No matter what, a 4 cylinder is going to be more coarse/raspy/harsh and will not have the smoothness and refinement of the V6.

2011 Ford Edge Light Bulb Chart

Dingo: I don't think she'll object. -
My previous Edge: http://www.autofind.com/dealer/details/160430.passenger/2FMDK36C88BA38242/ carbonedge: I changed my stock Hankooks for H rated Goodyear Assurance FuelMax tires at 45K. Also changed brake pads twice (Had to get rid of the EBC pads I had), flushed Trans fluid at 80k and coolant at 90k. Bear in mind, I do live in PHX where it does get hotter than hell itself.

When was the last time you had the transmission flashed?
-
I had an easy time after getting the DRL module and warning canceller.
-
Before I traded it, my 2008 SE had 105,000 on the clock. Transmission flashes and one cooling fan were the issues I had to contend with.

What part of the Valley are you in?

They have a 2012 Limited in the dealer showroom with those wheels. Very classy look.

Tacyon: There's really more to it than the wattage. Wattage makes the light more intense but it's the amount of lumens that actually determines how bright your lights will be. Stock HIDs are generally 4000-4150K in color which is usually somewhere around 2500-2800 lumens. My 5000K kit is 3200 lumens. My previous 6000K kit was 2800. Bear in mind, my kit is 35w. Here's a color chart to better clarify things courtesy of the vendor I bought my kit from. http://shop.3bspecia...B4-Kits_c34.htm As for the audio system, I do agree it does need more wattage in the cottage. However, I would like to change the amplification and the speakers.
