  5. I am really leaning toward just replacing the speakers all the way around because of timbre issues and sound quality. I am going to visit Soundwerks in Scottsdale, AZ today to get a quote and see what they are going to charge.
  6. I think my wife would appreciate it due to the fact that she uses a similarly bright makeup mirror at home. I am going to order them this weekend.
  7. After reading the bulb guide for the Vanity mirrors, I am looking at these to replace the bulbs. http://www.v-leds.com/5K-WHITE-HI-POWER-3-CHIP-p9768538-1-2.html#ReviewsTabAnchor Would these be the correct bulb? If not, what would be?
  8. Oh, I forgot to mention that the shop gave me two different quotes. One quote was for replacing all speakers, adding two amps, and the RF 360. The other was leaving the stock speakers (surround, and D pillar) powered by the factory amp. Guess which one was $1,000 less....
  9. If the shop will let me post them, I will do that. I am also going to check into some other shops.

  11. However, could you add brighter LEDs to fit the housings so they can act as foglights?
  12. One advantage to your DRLs is that I don't have to add a separate switch to my dashboard.
  13. Chris, Thanks. One more question. Did you change the speaker wiring or keep the stock stuff?
  14. Random thought: I wonder if we can put something like this on our Edges as an actual foglight. http://www.hidxenonlights.com/universal-fog-lights-c-671/white-version-2-led-fog-lights-p-205
  15. I think I want to add this to the mix...... http://www.audiocontrol.com/t34/17612/712451/OEM-Integration/LCQ--1----Six-Channel-Line-Output-Converter-with-Equalization-and-AccuBASS.html
  16. Indeed. I work in IT but have an interest in car audio and home theater. As for BA, I have had a good history with them. When I had a 1994 Maxima, I replaced the rear speakers with BA coaxes running off of an Eclipse head unit and the stock (read: Clarion) amp. It actually sounded pretty nice. Given that we have Sony systems in our vehicles and how they are interconnected with a ton of other things, I definitely don't want to change that out.
  17. I am waiting to hear official word before doing anything. For now, I will just plop the wife's Garmin on the windshield.
