  1. I'll bite. Given that I have owned two Edges, I am wanting something to reflect that and the fact my 2008 had 105k when I traded it.
  2. One thing I recall when I put HIDs on my 2008 Edge was that I had to make sure that the ballasts were digital because of the nature of the Edge's electrical system. Also, check your fuses to make sure they did not blow.
  3. Once the personal issues subside, I am considering two options Option 1 - Do it all at once. Benefit will be that everything is done and tuned. Option 2 - Do it in stages. Benefit is that my wallet won't take a huge hit at one time. I am leaning toward option 1 becaue I don't feel like making multiple trips.
  4. EGR: Is tinted the only way to get the hood deflectors? If not, what are the options?
  5. Mooshin: We do not but I agree that it's sorely needed.
  6. Project on hold for a while due to personal reasons. Will resume shortly.
  7. My possible guess is that the ballasts from your HID kit are not digital. The first gen Edges require digital ballasts due to the nature of the electrical system.
  8. Yeah, I am curious about that as well since I will periodically drive mine to Chicago.
  9. wlepse: To me, the Edge's V6 has as much refinement as the Murano's VQ35 or even the BMW's 6 in the X5.
  10. Tequila: I had a 2008 Edge SE before my 2011. With 105k on the clock, I got $12,000 on trade. No loyalty discounts or rebates, either. This alone causes me to take CR's opinions worth a grain of salt when it comes to these vehicles. I enjoyed my 2008 Edge and am having a ball with my 2011.
  11. Brock: I wouldn't say that. Considering I am shopping for something similar, I am realizing that the costs are coming from the components as well as install.
  12. Now, I am very curious as to why. It would be something that would be very practical to have for our systems.
  13. That's the other reason I am choosing the place. They are allowing me to do this in phases if I want to.
  14. Shoot, you plan to plunk that kind of coin down on something like that, it had better sound right....IJS
  15. Agreed. I actually clocked lights without cameras versus lights with them and I did see that the lights with cameras were faster because the camera (or scamera) companies change the timings to trip people up.
  16. Well, geez....I must be in the "minority" that doesn't listen to everything CR says. I am on my second Edge and have had good luck with both. Prior to that, I had a 2002 Maxima that spent way more time in the shop than either Edge I owned due to the TSBs that, if combined, would equal the White Pages for Joplin, MO.
  17. Looks like more cameras are coming down around here. Tempe seems to be taking some of theirs down.
  18. Guys, my 2008 did the same thing within a short few months of ownership. Mostly if the a/c was on. One day, we just decided to take it in after it happened while sitting in a Wal-Mart parking lot and they found the problem immediately (Throttle Body). The Edge never stalled ever since.
  19. Next week is a test listen of the exact components that will comprise the system (minus the 360.3).
  20. Looks like I can (finally) place my order but know I will have to wait until Mid September to get them. If you are ordering the 6Ks, you are in the same slow boat (pun intended).
  21. I would also think that environmental conditions would be a consideration. I know that I changed the trans fluid on my 2008 Edge at 45,000 due to the extreme heat in AZ.
  22. I actually changed the trans fluid at 45k and it didn't cost me that much.
