  1. That's the other reason I am choosing the place. They are allowing me to do this in phases if I want to.
  2. Shoot, you plan to plunk that kind of coin down on something like that, it had better sound right....IJS
  3. Agreed. I actually clocked lights without cameras versus lights with them and I did see that the lights with cameras were faster because the camera (or scamera) companies change the timings to trip people up.
  4. Well, geez....I must be in the "minority" that doesn't listen to everything CR says. I am on my second Edge and have had good luck with both. Prior to that, I had a 2002 Maxima that spent way more time in the shop than either Edge I owned due to the TSBs that, if combined, would equal the White Pages for Joplin, MO.
  5. Looks like more cameras are coming down around here. Tempe seems to be taking some of theirs down.
  6. Guys, my 2008 did the same thing within a short few months of ownership. Mostly if the a/c was on. One day, we just decided to take it in after it happened while sitting in a Wal-Mart parking lot and they found the problem immediately (Throttle Body). The Edge never stalled ever since.
  7. Next week is a test listen of the exact components that will comprise the system (minus the 360.3).
  8. Looks like I can (finally) place my order but know I will have to wait until Mid September to get them. If you are ordering the 6Ks, you are in the same slow boat (pun intended).
  9. I would also think that environmental conditions would be a consideration. I know that I changed the trans fluid on my 2008 Edge at 45,000 due to the extreme heat in AZ.
  10. I actually changed the trans fluid at 45k and it didn't cost me that much.
  11. There is a shop in Mesa that sells Audison but I am sticking with the shop in Tempe.
  12. The Audison Bit One has the same functionality as the 360.3 but it is $50 more than the Rockford Fosgate 360.3.
  13. Actually, the stealthbox will fit just fine back there. I read the install instructions and, if you have a sub, it's pretty straightforward and easy.
  14. I have the Sony system that has the tweeter on the A pillar.
  15. I am 6'3.5" and 300+. I have no problems on either side of the car.
  16. Yep. Gotta make sure it's done 100% right or I am not doing it.
  17. Still researching but narrowing my choices. I have a couple of other shops to look at but may just stick with Sounds Good to Me due to the fact it's not too far from my job.
  18. NYEdge: I had a first gen Edge with hi/low HIDs in the stock housing. The way I did it was that each had their own separate kit. H11 for the lows and 9005 for the highs. I did switch to a canbus ballast for my highs and had zero problems. For your fogs, have you considered LED foglight bulbs, as found here: http://www.v-leds.com/H11/c515190-1-2/ ? The reason I am suggesting that would be to make it easier for you to deal with. I wish I could help with the vanity mirrors in the first gen Edge as mine did not have them (much to my wife's chagrin).
  19. ....and 24 days later than this thread's origin, they are still out of stock of the 5Ks.
  20. Agreed. You don't want to rock those rims during the rainy season in Chicago. :-)
  21. m00ndude, In your case, you'd be better off going aftermarket. I would suggest a Kenwood, Alpine, or JVC unit. I know that the Kenwoods have the Garmin software built in. Case in point, http://www.kenwoodusa.com/Car_Entertainment/Mobile_Video_n_Navigation/Navigation/DNX7190HD
