Nubianlori, since you are in the same general area as I am (SE Valley), I have to ask the question of the battery's age. Two years is the average a battery will last in AZ due to the infamous heat. Also, which dealer did you take it to?

Now that personal issues are starting to subside, the project (and others) are starting to pick up. Of course, things may change with the exception of the shop.

The PIAA fogs have amber lenses which will help me with the dust storms we occassionally have down here. I did look at the Hellas but the packaging wasn't as neat as the PIAA (e.g. Internal Ballast).

Going to check them out for sure now. Thanks, Dingo.

2011 Edge: Teapot Whistle when Applying Brakes

Oh no. The thing I have experienced on many forums (especially this one) is that you can have posts asking about a problem and no one lets anyone know about the solution which can be quite frustrating. -
I have used Bosch Micro-Edges and Rain-X Latitudes. Both are good but I may try the ones Dingo is suggesting.

I think I am going to order the Iron-X as well and add that as part of my arsenal. -

Which one (7424 or 7336)? The difference between the two is the larger counterweights in the 7336 which leads to smoother operation, even at higher oscillations. -
One thing I have learned in the over 10 years I have used different detail products is YMMV (Your mileage may vary). Things such as environmental conditions, paint condition, and other factors have to be taken into account. With that said, I have used Poorboys, Klasse, Autoglym, Menzerna, P21S, and Pinnacle (or any combination of them) to bring out the shine on any vehicle. But bear in mind, I also own four buffers (two random orbital, two rotaries).

Looking at this has me thinking about adding fogs to mine but with a slightly more different tack. Given that I do live in an area that has very dark roads outside of urban areas, I am considering these for fogs: http://www.piaa.com/automotive-lamps/hid-crosscountry.html

Some time ago, I was exploring the idea of turbocharging my 2008 Edge by installing an STS Turbo. However, I nixed the idea when I discovered that the transmission is the weak link. In order to do this, you would definitely need to upgrade the trans to handle the added power as well as add some sort of tranmission cooler. The engine might be able to take light boost but if you want to go to an SRT-8's level, you'd need to change some engine internals as well.

Now, I am at 18.5 mpg.

Got the Edge back and can tell you there is a great difference. -
I did learn from one wheel shop that the bolts for these wheels could be difficult to remove for painting. I would need to verify.

2011 Edge: Teapot Whistle when Applying Brakes
PrinzII replied to PrinzII's topic in Brakes, Chassis & Suspension
I drove to the dealer today to let them know I heard the sound over the weekend. However, the sound came before I left and I had technicians hear it. They are ordering the brake booster for me. Scheduled for tomorrow. -

Is there any sort of TSB for this? -
I was looking at Goodridge Phantom Stainless Steel Brake Lines. Anyone got those?
