  1. Well, here's the problem with that. Transitions photochromatic material is embedded in the lens itself which means it ain't cheap. Secondly, you'd have to remove the original plastic on the front of the headlamp in order to replace it with the one made with the material. Dingo: Not a bad idea but I am also wondering how expensive that would be to implement on a headlight.
  2. For mine, I am looking at the 10TW3 by JL in an enclosure.
  3. Another random thought since I listened to the C3s was to order two pairs of C3s for the doors. Since the C3 is a "convertible" speaker, I can use the speakers up front as my component and leave it coax in the rear.
  4. That is how Transitions lenses work. They darken according to the amount of UV.
  5. Richy: I will have to check it out. For instance, I need some Pinnacle wax for my Edge.
  6. I found this on the motorcycle site. If you can, let's show support for our brother and help him get justice. http://www.gofundme.com/3nk79w
  7. Time for me to start planning the following: a) Refresh my AZ stockpile. I am currently out of P21S wax and need to buy some new wax, polish, and a few other items Plan how to get my IL stockpile down here. This includes my other rotary and my second RO. c) Plan of attack to detail the 2011. I definitely want to do this after "monsoon season" and it cools down.
  8. I hope the who shot your dog gets what he deserves and then some! This is one of those stories that would make me sad and then fighting mad.
  9. jmac: I did what you suggested and shut off the Phonebook download and it has worked. No skipping or sped up songs from my S4. Thanks for the suggestion.
  10. Sorry we were interrupted. We ran into some fire activity on Glendale. Our convo gave me some new information that I was not aware of. For instance, your Edge has the power liftgate where mine does not. I am thinking your idea of putting it in the area where the spare is would be best so you don't lose cargo room. BTW, did you get a chance to check out the 10TW3?
  11. To me, the in-car telematic system(s) are not much different than your garden variety PC. At times, you will have some OBFs (Out of Box Failures) but others will work fine for a VERY long time.
  12. Do you have space in front of the rear fender under the plastic panel?
  13. I can't blame you for removing it. It made your headlights look worse than the ones that sit out here in the sun for 5+ years.
  14. Update: I am planning to take the wife to the store so she can see the light and the bracket I am planning to use. This ought to be good.....:chuckle:
  15. What would be nice is if they had a setup that used the same cartridge style but had some sort of reflector to fill out the housing so the light is spread evenly. As it sits, there's a hot spot and it's usually in my wife's face.
  16. Shoulin: I think I'll stick with the JLs. I definitely want things easy if something goes wrong.
  17. In my case, no. I have seen graininess when it's hot or cool.
