  1. This is interesting to note. My Fram air filter and in-cabin filters from Wal-Mart cost less than having the dealership change the air filter alone.
  2. I just bought a Fram in-cabin air filter. Plan to go change it now.
  3. Last week: 410 miles of commuting to and from work Saturday: Drove to N Phoenix and Peoria, then home Sunday: Let it rest but changed the engine air filter and bought a new cabin air filter Today: Changing cabin air filter VERY early Saturday morning or Friday evening: New shoes.....
  4. Join the club. I use it as well for my commute and highway travel. As for mounting options (except for CA which has a law regarding items mounted to the windshield), I have a Samsung mount affixed to my windshield. Fits my S4 just fine and has the charging cable. I also have one of those multi-outlet adapters.
  5. Thanks, Todd. I doubt you will be hearing me complain about my dealership, though.
  6. Latest news: The last time I stopped there, I demoed the 12TW3. The Stealthbox has not been ruled out..
  7. I had the high beam HIDs in my '08 Edge and enjoyed the added brightness. But wannabang is correct in that the ballasts do take a little time to warm up. Plus, you will not be able to blink anyone.
  8. Lebaneezer: The hyperflashing can be corrected by a 6 ohm resistor. I would recommend going to http://www.v-leds.com for one.
  9. Thx. Got rid of this crap a few days later. Trust me when I tell you it was no fun. Anytime you cough and get a headache that lasts 15 minutes....no bueno. At the rate I drive my Edge, I may hit 100k in 3 years.
  10. Yes. The setup is the same. I found this out when converting my 2011 to HID.
  11. arabski: To do the OEM route is NOT cheap at all. The capsules alone are $900+, not including ballasts and wiring changes.
  12. Edged: That was me looking into that. The more I look at it, the more I am considering upgrading to a TRS 50w kit or having whiteis modify some housings for me. 12Edge's diagram just sealed the deal.
  13. My Limited was a CA car and I had to wind up installing a capacitor and warning canceller on my HID kit for it to work. Also, I have been running CANBUS ballasts for a while.
  14. Actually, the choices for replacement tires are Pirelli and Yokohama. Yokohama has a new tire that is similar to the Scorpion Verde and has reviewed better than the stock Michelin Latitudes.
  15. EcoBoost 3.5L 6? I'm on it! EcoBoost Diesel? I'm on it! Hybrid? Middle of the road. Driving to Sedona is one of the reasons I am like that. Trinity V8? Drool
  16. Truthfully, it's one thing to stand your ground when you actually have a leg to stand on. Bluntly, that's like asking Microsoft to restart Zune production. You are blaming Ford for a decision made by Microsoft ages ago. I see this all the time in my field and I point out the obvious fact that things change with technology so rapidly that it's virtually impossible to keep up with it 100%.
  17. Jury's still out until I see some powertrain and cargo info.
  18. Lately, I have been getting a teapot whistle-like sound out of the steering system. If I am executing a tight turn, I will hear this every time. Anyone run into this?
  19. Lately, I have been getting a teapot whistle-like sound out of the steering system. If I am executing a tight turn, I will hear this every time. Anyone run into this?
  20. Darlene: Trust me when I tell you it's not. After we had the latch changed, no more issue.
  21. Last Week: Work/Home/Church....routine runs Saturday: Drove to S. Phoenix and then Tucson. Let the wife drive back because I was getting sick (sinuses). She was getting drowsy which led me to take over from Eloy, AZ back. Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday: Wifey drove to work in it. I was at home sick. Today: Drove to work, First feeding of the week of 89 octane. Still under the weather, but not as bad as Sunday and Monday.
