As for the sales team, I have four people I go to exclusively. My rationale is that if my primary (Jacques) isn't there, I can nab the others. Each time I have dealt with them, there's no pressure. Tricia: You can add Christy and Archie to the list of service personnel I find stellar.

Are you talking about Eric with the handlebar mustache?

While I am not experiencing the same kinds of issues, I am noticing something related. When I took my Edge in for its last oil change, I was told that the battery may be going out. The tech that worked on it noticed a significant drop in amperage (New: 800+, Now: 750). Given that I live in an extreme climate (We are currently forecast for 110+ degree temps for the next week or longer), I know that battery changes are a "routine" part of maintenance where I live (e.g. My 2008 had two Optima Yellow Top Batteries within two years. My 2011 has scored one battery replacement since last year). I am going to head to the store that I bought the battery from to change it. For the record, I have a battery from O'Reilly Auto Parts that has a five year warranty (850 CCA). Where I'm at, you'll need it....seriously.

Another Issue with my '15 Edge
PrinzII replied to built2prfctn's topic in Buying, Leasing & Ordering
Speaking of wind, I find it interesting that the buffeting issue when the rear windows are down was not corrected for 2015. I test drove two different 2015 Edges with the windows down and the buffeting came when the rear windows were down, but the fronts were up. When the fronts were lowered, the buffeting stopped, even at highway speeds. -
That may be my second color choice besides White Platinum.

What have you done to/with your Edge/MKX today?
PrinzII replied to WWWPerfA_ZN0W's topic in Accessories & Modifications
Yesterday: Took it to Discount Tire for the free air pressure check and free wheel balancing. Found my left rear was down 5 pounds and had it checked to make sure there were no slow leaks. -
Re: tires - how old is too old? (plus needed tire advice)
PrinzII replied to liarsdice's topic in Wheels & Tires
In AZ, I have to really be concerned with weather and even dry rotting issues (I do see a LOT of cars with blowouts during the summer months). However, I have been on H rated tires for both Edges and no problems. -
Vanity Mirror LED’s?
PrinzII replied to Craigtaz's topic in Glass, Lenses, Lighting, Mirrors, Sunroof (BAMR), Wipers
Actually, it's pretty easy. When I did mine, I used a small flathead screwdriver to pry it off. -
I am at 103,000 with mine and it's due for an oil change.

Vanity Mirror LED’s?
PrinzII replied to Craigtaz's topic in Glass, Lenses, Lighting, Mirrors, Sunroof (BAMR), Wipers
I replaced the bulbs in the vanity mirrors with LEDs. However, I got them from VLEDs. The issue I noticed is that the light doesn't disperse as well as the regular bulb because there is nothing to reflect the light behind the bulb. -
Answeres for all Audio/Video questions
PrinzII replied to Vfords's topic in Audio, Backup, Navigation & SYNC
Yep. The technical answer is that the stock amp is geared for the impedance of the factory speakers. If you try running something with a lower impedance (e.g. your sub), you could cause problems. -
Welcome to the fold. My wife and I just looked at a '15 Sport but it was black. She wants to see what it would look like in White.

Please ..what fuel type recommended for Edge 2013
PrinzII replied to EdgeLimit13's topic in Owner Impressions
From my experience on the highway, there seems to be a difference between NM, TX, OK, and MO gas versus that of AZ. I got the best mileage out of NM gas and the worst out of MO and even IL. -
After reading all of this and actually driving a Sport, here's my personal take. 1) I like the power. Seems like the transmission has also been improved. 2) The Edge does come with an individual TPMS for each tire. 3) Not being able to install a trailer hitch or roof rails is a bit of an issue because I need the hitch for a bike rack. 4) Don't really need a heated steering wheel where I am. It gets hot enough here as it is....lol 5) I want to see a Sport in White Platinum with the 21" painted wheels. 6) Because of #3, the 2016 MKX is getting a harder look.

Very interesting that they are staggering the deployment times of Sync 3. Usually, that can mean packaging and/or compatibility issues. But for those with older vehicles, it seems they are out of luck.

Now, I am at almost 103,000 miles.

Replacing headlight bulb
PrinzII replied to Denise Egan's topic in Glass, Lenses, Lighting, Mirrors, Sunroof (BAMR), Wipers
In the past, I used PIAA Extreme White bulbs. But ever since I went HID (and plan to go LED), I have not looked back at any halogen bulb whatsoever. -
Xenon Depot kit troubles
PrinzII replied to mestguy182's topic in Glass, Lenses, Lighting, Mirrors, Sunroof (BAMR), Wipers
I would take it to the dealer to check and see if the DRLs are activated. If so, have them deactivated. Trust me, that is exactly what I had to wind up doing in order to get my HIDs to work. -
What version of Android are you running on your S4?
-
Rumor has it that you can get those rails with the sunroof. Is that true?
-
The salesman that was with us told her about the feature but she had a hard time finding the lever.

Dan is giving me an option to try before shelling out the coin for the LEDs. I am going to order the bulbs from him and put them with my existing kit.

In fact, my wife said she thought it was choking her. What would have been a good idea is to configure the back seat belts to be adjustable like the fronts for comfort.

I got my answer yesterday when I drove a '15 Sport. It looks like the airflow is better but I have not put it on full honk to see how much.
