  1. From my experience on the highway, there seems to be a difference between NM, TX, OK, and MO gas versus that of AZ. I got the best mileage out of NM gas and the worst out of MO and even IL.
  2. After reading all of this and actually driving a Sport, here's my personal take. 1) I like the power. Seems like the transmission has also been improved. 2) The Edge does come with an individual TPMS for each tire. 3) Not being able to install a trailer hitch or roof rails is a bit of an issue because I need the hitch for a bike rack. 4) Don't really need a heated steering wheel where I am. It gets hot enough here as it is....lol 5) I want to see a Sport in White Platinum with the 21" painted wheels. 6) Because of #3, the 2016 MKX is getting a harder look.
  3. Very interesting that they are staggering the deployment times of Sync 3. Usually, that can mean packaging and/or compatibility issues. But for those with older vehicles, it seems they are out of luck.
  4. Now, I am at almost 103,000 miles.
  5. In the past, I used PIAA Extreme White bulbs. But ever since I went HID (and plan to go LED), I have not looked back at any halogen bulb whatsoever.
  6. I would take it to the dealer to check and see if the DRLs are activated. If so, have them deactivated. Trust me, that is exactly what I had to wind up doing in order to get my HIDs to work.
  7. What version of Android are you running on your S4?
  8. Rumor has it that you can get those rails with the sunroof. Is that true?
  9. The salesman that was with us told her about the feature but she had a hard time finding the lever.
  10. Dan is giving me an option to try before shelling out the coin for the LEDs. I am going to order the bulbs from him and put them with my existing kit.
  11. In fact, my wife said she thought it was choking her. What would have been a good idea is to configure the back seat belts to be adjustable like the fronts for comfort.
  12. I got my answer yesterday when I drove a '15 Sport. It looks like the airflow is better but I have not put it on full honk to see how much.
  13. Just test drove a '15 Sport yesterday. I definitely like the power and steering. Wife didn't like the back seat because she could not adjust the belt.
  14. I think your car may have the Daytime Running Lamps activated.
  15. I got those certificates and they came in handy when a piece of road debris sliced my Yokohama YK580 on the outer sidewall. Given that construction season is in full swing around the country, those certificates will come in VERY handy, IJS.
  16. Well, let me throw a little light on the subject (pun intended) I ran into similar issues when I bought my 2011 Limited. However, I found that the car had DRLs that were activated (Originally a CA car). I had to go to the dealer to have them disable it in order for my HIDs to work. The next point is that I am currently running a 35w 5000K HID system in mine without a relay harness. What kind of ballasts are the ones you have? Through trial and error, I found that the Canbus ballast worked with no problem. I would test your ballast in a different car to check their behavior. If it fires with no problem in a non-Canbus car, your issue is definitely the ballast is not compatible with the Edge's electrical system.
  17. .....more like a 10,000 hp nitromethane powered blender...lbvs
  18. Now, the question is whether or not we can find someone who can distribute or source all of this stuff.
  19. Well, looks like the wife wants to put our Edge on the road again. She wants to go to her family event in St. Louis which means that lighting upgrade is going to have to happen sooner than later. (My wallet just winced)
  20. Steeda used to make one and it disappeared.
  21. Forgot to mention they don't fit the 2011s. They do have 3157s.
  22. However, the vertical vents from the 2007-2010 Edge had nothing to do with how weak the air conditioning was. The 2011-2014 is better but I am curious whether the air flow has been ramped up with the vertical vents.
  23. I just test drove a 2008 SEL with 111,639 on the clock for a friend who is Edge shopping. The following things were wrong with it.... 1) Brake pedal had a very mushy feel to it. Probably needed to do the brake fluid service. 2) I did hear some wheel bearing noise, especially after application of the brakes 3) Transmission slippage from 3-4 4) Scratch on rear door
