  1. I was in MS over Memorial Day weekend and.....yeah........I can understand where you are coming from. Can't forget the skeeters, though.
  2. There are times I will drink coffee, chew the fat , test drive cars, etc........
  3. Well, you have to remember I am in AZ which does get hotter than hell itself. I have no intention on walking home when it's 100+ outside.
  4. Worst case is that the compressor got damaged in the accident.
  5. For me, the process is greatly simplified. Side effect may be lighter pockets. Go to dealer which is across the street Sit and relax after shuttle drives me home
  6. I could check into that. Hopefully, the $1000 deductible doesn't come into play.
  7. Over the weekend..... Washed and cleaned interior Planning to have my carpet guy come out and clean the carpet on both cars as well as the house Felt trunk of wife's car after wash and I didn't like how rough it was feeling. Contemplating doing a buff with the rotary on it.
  8. Try Setina to see if they have a fitment for their PB series.
  9. Luckily for me, I have never had to deal with battery resets on my 2011 and I had to replace the battery three times since I had it. AZ heat is BRUTAL on batteries.
  10. Luckily for both cars, the body work was the extent of the problem(s). The shop I used made both cars look like they never got hit. I haven't run the lighting past the wife yet. Been busy with a LOT of other stuff.
  11. If you are that concerned with color matching, stick with a 5000K color temperature. That will closely match the color of the LED strips.
  12. Let me give you a rundown of what is going on with mine.... Edge got rear ended by an inattentive driver. Damage was primarily the rear bumper. Taken to shop and fixed The day I pick up the Edge, my wife's 300 gets rear ended in traffic by another inattentive driver (long story behind that one) and I wind up dropping it off at the same shop that fixed the Edge. Shopping for some new shoes for the Edge. Had to order the Kumho Crugen KL33s because, quite frankly, the YK580 is discontinued as is the original Michelin Latitude HP. Looked at Pirelli Scorpion Verde but remembered my experience with those. Looked at Falkens but the Kumhos were the better bang for the buck because of the V Rating. Trying to find new housings for my headlights because one got cracked by a rock. Going to hold the wife to her word of not arguing with me on any lighting upgrades when I present these to her: https://www.theretrofitsource.com/led-lighting/led-bulbs/9012-morimoto-2stroke-51620.html Got a new license plate frame because the old one was looking worse for wear. Also saw some switchbacks on there I like as well as some new reverse lights for my Edge.
  13. Mine are almost at the 60+K mark and need to be replaced ASAP especially since it's the rainy season down here.
  14. Looks like I'll be the guinea pig. I placed my order for these tires yesterday. They should be in next week. Mine are 245/60/18 105V which should do wonders versus heat but the surprise for me is that they have a 60K warranty (rare for a V-rated tire).
  15. It's not the winds you have to worry about. It's the more intense sun down in these parts. What I find ironic is that the housings in my 2008 never hazed at all.
  16. I am in need of both headlight assemblies for my Edge because one got nailed with a stone and broke and the other is severely hazy due to the AZ sun. If anyone has a set, PM me ASAP.
  17. *shudders at the thought* I LOVE the Center Line Auto/Drag but some vehicles won't look right with them. The Edge is one such vehicle. Also applies to Cragar Series 61s and Keystone Klassics.
  18. Does anyone have these? I am considering a set for my 2011. The ones I am looking at are V Rated but rated for 60k. Before anyone asks, the Yokos are worn (Got them to the 60k plus) and Yokohama does not have a similar replacement unless you go to 245/ 55/18 or some oddball size.
  19. VLEDs has come out with an LED option that will work with our dust covers. However, these are 6000 lumens versus 9000. Also, since my lenses are getting very sun-beaten, I am looking at replacing the housings anyway. I am still considering the HID (D3S) housing.
  20. Been running 5000K HIDs in my 2011 Edge for years. Still researching the LED option.
  21. Mine went on a trip to Chicago and did very solidly.
  22. Now that I am looking for replacements for these tires, none can be found in Arizona. I may have to talk to Discount and see if they can get a set transferred from Minnesota.
  23. Oh, I am also shopping for new tires for the Edge. I want to get them before I head to Indian Wells, CA.
  24. Let's just say that a LOT has happened since that time. However, I do need to hit Dan up for some of those new LED puddle lamps because mine are flickering like strobes at a disco.
