From the looks of it, I would have to check out Avery and a few others.

What have you done to/with your Edge/MKX today?

I refuse to go lower than that. -
I was checking into Black Chrome wrap for the grille and a few other pieces. The shop I visited said that the wrap (3M) would literally have a 30 second warranty and the cost to wrap all of the chrome would be north of $2100. I am wondering if anyone can find a less expensive option.

Down here, you almost have to budget for batteries because of the heat. My last battery was from O'Reilly's and has a 5 year warranty and has 850 CC. On my last Edge, I had an Optima Yellow Top. -
Technically, I ride my bike along the path of two different canals. My norm is to load up on bug repellent.

Investigating black chrome wrap for the grille. -
I have gotten tagged in North Phoenix and parts of Chandler by the canals.

However, since the tires are V-rated, I don't have to worry about heat buildup since I deal with temps from 100-120+ degrees this time of year.

The Yokos were better in that regard. Even when worn, they were pretty smooth. As for my taste in rims, I tend to pay close attention to how well a wheel goes with the lines of the car.

Spoke with Dan this weekend and will be placing my order for the new puddle lamps Thursday Changing Fuse #17......again because left HID is out (Next week, ordering Morimoto 2 Stroke LED headlights (Along with Morimoto switchbacks) and moving HIDs to wifey's 300) Resume hunting for new headlight assemblies Oil Change Still getting vibration from Kumhos after Road Force Balancing. May have subframe looked at while oil is being changed -
Sounds like your dealer took the path of least resistance and fixed a totally unrelated problem. Updating Sync (infotainment system) has ZERO to do with what you are experiencing with your climate control system. Did they check the refrigerant levels? That can also be a sign of a leak in the system. Did they check the condenser? Did they check all of the lines? Worst case: Replace compressor or condenser

The choices for tire I had were this and the Falken. Neither of them had the low rolling resistance. However, when I was peeping these rims in 20", I could get the Yokohama Geolandar G055 which has the low rolling resistance in the same size that would fit a Trailblazer SS..

Now that the vibration has been dispatched, I can give you some feedback on these tires. The Kumho Crugen KL33 is a tire designed strictly for crossovers like ours. Typically, Edge owners wind up with an H-rated tire but this was the only tire sold at Discount in the 245/60/18 size with a V speed rating and had a pretty decent price of $129/tire. The outer tread block is something that takes getting used to. It almost reminds you of an all-terrain tire but the inner tread design is more suited for crossover duty So far, these tires are pretty smooth. They are as quiet as the Yokohamas and the Michelins. However, if you are looking for the low rolling resistance/fuel saving......fogeddaboutit. .

My 2011 had the door latch issue that was prevalent in Gen 1.5. Dealer replaced under warranty both times.

Color? Is it White Platinum? if so, expect increased costs as that is a 3 stage paint job (basecoat, pearl, clear coat) What year? Part of the cost will be how many gallons of paint will be required. I would roughly say 3-4. Will this be a show quality paint job or an Earl Scheib/Maaco Special?
-
That will come after the Road Force Balance.
-
One thing I noticed with these tires is that outer tread block is fairly aggressive but is actually quiet. Every time I look at them, I think I have an all-terrain tire. Save for the vibration, the ride is fairly smooth. I haven't put them through their paces yet.

This time, it's not as bad as the Pirellis was. I am still going to get that Road Force balance, though.
-
Thus far, I am getting a vibration and will need to have them Road Force Balanced. I hope this is not Pirelli Part II.

I will have some feedback tomorrow.
