Another thing I'm looking to do is the 75k Maintenance plus the Transmission flush on my 2018. I need to get that done before the heat in AZ hits.

I just had a neighbor with a 2018 Edge Sport whose battery ran down. I jumped her car with my wife's 2020 Escape (Requires AGM Battery). She bought one of those cheap Duralast batteries from AutoZone. I advised her to start looking at AGM batteries due to all the tech in our vehicles before the summer heat hits in AZ.

One thing I would strongly advise if the battery needs to be replaced is that all newer Edges (Even my 2018) require AGM batteries which can be quite pricey. But if the battery is under warranty, you can go to the dealer and they will replace it for free.

Latest turn in the Vignale Grille hunt: I have a friend in the UK that's helping me locate this grille. Got a quote for the wheel (Axe CF2 Gloss Black)/tire combo: Eyewatering is an understatement but it's a Forged wheel and that is to be expected. Got a quote for the Bilstein shocks and struts Reviewing dabangsta's post to see if I can do the same to my 2018 Found the Strut Tower Brace and rear sway bar

According to Ford UK, there is a site but the part is not listed. The part number is 1935802.

I have some areas that could really work that combo out. I am in a fairly mountainous state and that would be a good investment for going downhill on some roads. Since yours is a 2019, you could do the ST calipers easily. Mine is a 2018. Will those calipers even fit?

You just answered a prayer of mine for bigger brakes. I may be rebudgeting according to what's here (including the 7mm and 11 mm sockets). But before I plunk down the coin, can you let me know if the braking performance has improved over the stock FWD rotors? With me considering an upgrade to 20s and the bad drivers around here, bigger brakes might be a very good investment. BTW, I am looking at the PowerStop pads as well.

That reminds me. I need to replace the plastic where the gear selector is so I can put my parking brake control back where it belongs. My dealer wants to charge $450 for parts and labor......🤬

For me, this is the third Ford Edge I have owned. All have had the 3.5L V6 and none are AWD. One factor is how comfortable my 5'4" wife is driving it. Currently, she's a bit envious of my Edge because of the power liftgate that she doesn't have on her 2020 Escape (She traded the 300 for this and I actually enjoy driving it) Another is that I enjoy the power and handling which is akin to the BMW X5 V6.

Budgeting for my maintenance and modifications for my Edge. Side note: I'd like the Ambient lighting like I had in my 2011 Limited.

While that is true, the challenge is which variant. Select, Reserve, Black Label? Of the three, The Black Label would be the most appealing to me. Plus, like the Edge, it would have to be the 2022-2023 model year.

I have gotten the same recall for my 2018 Edge with a 3.5L V6.

I've been milling this around for a while. Here are my replacement options if it comes down to it. For the record, I do have a 7 yr 100k extended warranty on it. In the Ford Family: a) 2022-2024 Ford Edge ST: Challenge is keeping them on the lot because people are snapping them up as soon as they get on the lot. b) Explorer ST: Need to test drive one to see if I'd like it. c) Expedition Platinum/Used Navigator Black Label: I can handle it but my wife indicated she would not be comfortable. d) Gen 3 or 4 Coyote powered F-150 Lariat/Platinum Crew Cab 4WD: See Expedition but I also want to modify it for performance. The biggest challenge is going to be the insurance premium. e) F-150 Lightning Platinum or XLT (Used): See Expedition, Modded F-150, but dealer allows me to bring it in to charge. Outside: Audi SQ8 with Capristo Exhaust and Downpipes Audi RSQ8 with Capristo Exhaust and Downpipes

Given that the Edge is based on the Fusion, I am wondering if there are any parts that will fit.

Another Wheel Alternative that would look good on our Edges: Axe CF2

Took it on a much needed long distance drive to clear the cobwebs. I was averaging 20-22 mpg.

Still doing dashcam research for both my SEL and wifey's Escape.

It's been a while since I've posted anything in here but..... My Edge got hit hard with sap from two trees behind it. It's also drenched in pollen from the same trees. The first time, I literally drenched my SEL in RainX bug and tar remover. I let it dwell overnight to soften the sap. I washed it and got the sap off pretty well. Fast forward to this week......Sap again This time, I have some Meguiar's bug and tar remover to get off the sap. Looks like I'll be drenching the SEL in this stuff......sigh
