Couldn't say for sure. I doubt they would work in the newer models with the passive key, but maybe they might fit older models. You may have to check the part number with the dealer to see if they fit other years, or be a guinea pig and order them up to try them.

Keypad lights
Symbasys replied to dolphinsc66's topic in Alarms, Keyless Entry, Locks & Remote Start
I have a light out in my keypad as well. I'm guessing that there is no fix other than replacing the entire thing. -
Used Vehicles - Previous Owners Smoked - Yeah or Nay?
Symbasys replied to JeffRow's topic in Buying, Leasing & Ordering
You will never get all the smoke smell out. It gets behind the panels, in the carpet padding, etc. where you can never clean it or Febreze it. You may think you have it smelling good, then a damp, rainy day comes along and the smell will surface again. I, too, am sensitive to smoke smells (actually allergic) and have had cars before with this problem. I'd advise you to keep looking for one that was non-smoker owned. When you are looking at used cars, always check the ashtray (if there is one)... if they have pretty smelling air freshener beads in it, keep moving. -
Yep,that's the set I bought. Too bad they only fit 2009-2010...

I'm ashamed to admit I have not gotten them installed yet. Life, and all that. Hopefully soon - will post results and pics when I get them on.

The set I bought is part number 9T4Z-7822404-AA (shows fitment for 2009-2010 models) and runs around $65 for the set of four handles with bezels... not bad. I bought mine on eBay from a seller called "dealerconsignments" and had a very positive experience. I had tried the chrome covers before I bought these. Don't waste your money. They fit poorly and look cheap. I sent them back for a refund. OEM is definitely the way to go.

Nav won't recognize my town - Rockford, IL
Symbasys replied to thecolliers's topic in Audio, Backup, Navigation & SYNC
I have this same problem with the nav in my 2010 Edge. It will not recognize "Tampa" when I speak it. I've even had other people in the car say it to see if there was something about my voice that it didn't like, but it still won't take it. I've resigned myself to having to type in the address manually before I leave. -
Removing Chrome Trim near LTD Windows?
Symbasys replied to bgspringer's topic in Accessories & Modifications
Can you just Plasti-Dip the chrome window trim as well? -
Any change in radio reception from the factory antenna?

I've been considering a set of these in chrome for my 2010 Limited. How hard was it to connect up the halo and LED lights? Did you have to cut into any factory harnesses? That is the only thing that has kept me from pulling the trigger on them. I don't want to modify the factory wiring.

Some lovely person in the Target parking lot decided to slam their door open into my driver door handle, taking off a good chunk of paint. I ordered a set of the Ford OEM replacement chrome door handles. I was amazed at how easy it was to install them! I had all four replaced in about 10 minutes, and that included having to go back in and find the correct size Torx bit. Installation goes like this: Pop off the black plastic plug on the inside edge of the door next to the door handle. Insert a Torx T-25 bit into the hole and loosen the screw (the instructions said to use a T-20, but for some reason I had to use the next size up.) Pull on the door handle and pop off the end trim bezel. Pull the door handle out and toward the rear of the vehicle until it pops off, then pull straight out to remove it from the door. Install is the reverse of removal. So simple! And it cost way less than having to have the door handle repainted.

I think car manufacturers are doing this now as a reaction to the problem of smelly A/C systems when they are left in recirc mode all the time. My 2010 Dodge Journey did the same thing. It's a way to make sure that fresh air gets circulated over the evaporator so that mold doesn't get a chance to build up. Just my 2 cents.

Ford OEM Rear Bumper Protector Help
Symbasys replied to Mark94's topic in Accessories & Modifications
I'm glad I read this forum, I am just about to apply my bumper protector as well. The instructions that come with it are next to useless. Thanks for the tips! -
I just ordered a set of these, so once they arrive from China and I get them put on, I'll report back on how they fit and so forth. The description says they only fit 2007-2011, so I wouldn't think they would fit the 2013.
