Hahah I'm in the same boat....
  2. Thanks! I try and keep her clean, though it's a lost cause this week cuz it's been raining pretty much non stop allllllll week..... gonna need a good bath here when the sun finally decides to come back out, lol
  3. Oh yea... usually wherever I'm at, they're not far behind. Even got one hiding in the tree over there, lol :P
  4. I know 100k isn't really all that much, but hey I snapped a pic anyways, haha.... rolled over on my way out to obedience class with my 2 dogs. I haven't had it that long, just bought it in Nov with 97,600 and change, so I haven't really put that many on it myself. Haven't had a single issue though and she runs and drives like brand new! Time to do an oil change tomorrow. This was the first vehicle I've had with under 100k miles (even if it was only for a short time) since I was 17 years old in 1999 when I bought a '94 Ranger with 72k. Currently my bike ('04 Honda CBR 600 F4i) has 252k and my other car ('89 Honda Accord) has 434k, so this is still pretty low for me, heh And other than a few little scratches on the top part of the rear bumper cover, still pretty much looks like new inside and out too (right below the LF turn signal where it looks like the paint is peeling on the bumper, is actually a reflection of... something, lol). It was dark and rainy tonight so couldn't really snap a pic, this was from a week or two ago. Nothing special, completely stock for now... I do have some plans though, getting the front windows tinted being at the top of the list, lol Just thought I'd share
  5. Ohh man that's an EXCELLENT idea!! Why didn't I think of that sooner?? LOL
  6. C1175 is for the LR wheel speed sensor input circuit failure. Most times it's usually just a wheel speed sensor gone bad, but given it was fine and didn't do it until after you washed it, you may have somehow gotten some water in the connector. I would unplug the LR wheel speed sensor and make sure it's clean and dry, put some dielectric grease in the connector and plug it back in, clear the code and see if it comes back. If it does there's a good chance you need a sensor..... I've had stuff that was just weird coincidence like that before too, lol
  7. Yea the water pump is driven off the timing chain, so it's behind the front cover (just like a lot of the newer Hondas, driven off the T-belt).... if I remember the last one we did the labor was around 9 hours or so (I think... it was awhile ago). Basically the same labor as if you were to put a timing chain in it And yea as was mentioned, shouldn't have to do anything with the chain unless there is a problem with it. I had to replace a chain in a 4.6 F-150 last year because it had stretched and was causing some driveability issues, but that was definitely an isolated case
  8. I need to get mine done here sometime too..... would love to match the back, but as was mentioned with the state inspection here in NC that kinda makes it hard (though I work at a dealership that does inspections so for now it wouldn't be a prob, but if I left.....). We'll see..... definitely makes it look a lot better though!
  9. Can't really see much of anything from that pic whether it damaged the base or not.... would kinda need a close up pic from the backside angle to really see. But the mast just screws in there, as long as you can get the old one out and the threaded part in the base isn't damaged, just get a new mast
  10. Welcome to the forum!! Edges are great vehicles, take good care of it and it should give you many years and miles of reliable service. You get the AWD or FWD? Post some pics up when you get it! I've only had mine a short time (2 months.... '07 SEL with 99k), but coming from a Ford dealer tech I can say we rarely see much of any problems at all with them. I would go through and flush all the fluids, change cabin air filter, and put some plugs in it just so you know where you're at with maintenance and that everything is done. But that that's just me... I'm anal about maintenance stuff, lol Enjoy the new ride! I'm sure you'll love it
  11. Anything you've had done at the dealership is in the system and can be pulled up and printed off, even just buying parts without the car being in the shop, it's still under your customer number..... service writer should be able to print it off no prob. We've done it for people before. As for the OASIS report, it will only show warranty repairs, open recalls, and whether the vehicle has had a CUDL contact or not, it won't show any of the regular maintenance stuff or any customer pay repairs
  12. There is no bottom pan, the drain plug is in the bottom of the transmission case itself. Just remove plug, let drain, re-install plug and fill up. The filter is not serviceable unless you drop the trans out and split the cases open.... it doesn't get changed under a normal service. When you drain it it's right at 5 quarts that comes out, refill with 5 quarts and it should be right at the full mark once warmed up. Repeat 2 more times, running for 3 minutes in between to flush all fluid out of the torque converter
