I would highly recommend thinking of going to a 2011, the differences are a lot.

Explorer mirrors have "Explorer" written on them. But if bigger mirrors are your requirement, you can install 2011 mirrors on the 2013.

The Factory system will be near impossible to retrofit (at leady cost wide). I guess that's because the US Edge still uses 315MHz. For some reason the 2013 Ford vehicles coming to the GCC are coming with 433MHz.

You need to unzip the file. Copy the contents of the file to the root of your flash drive. You should have 2 files (autoinstall & DONTINDX) & 1 folder (SyncMyRide). If it still does not work, try a different USB flash drive.

I changed my battery without issues. Just like any older car. Though the replacement battery is identical to the old one.

2850 lbs is the dry weight, standard. So it will be even more when the tanks are full & if you have additional options.

All Edges without the towing package are rated for 2000 lbs. When equipped with the Trailer Tow Package, the tow rating is 3500 lbs. So, since the Sport does not come with the Tow Package, you are limited to 2000 lbs only. If it is a metallic tint, I believe it will affect. Try to open all windows & rear hatch completely then test the range.

My MKX's factory remote start system is also like this. I think it is normal.

In the Main screen, select Settings, Help then System Information. note the last five digits of "CCPU/CIP" number. "13171" would indicate that you have V3.6.2

Some early 2011 & 2012 MFT require full image flashing through the Dealer only, they have early level software releases that couldn't be updated through a flash drive or by the owner. I have an HTC One (Android 4.2.2) and messaging now works fully with 3.6.2. I receive messages & can read messages by using voice commands.

For those having problems with recerculating air setting sticking through a restart of the engine, turn off the a/c and then press the recirculate button (effectively turning on the a/c using the recirculate button). If the a/c then remains on until the engine is turned off, the recirculate function will automatically be on when you restart the engine.

Reset the oil life to 50% after an oil change & you would get the oil change warning after 8000 km. It would then serve as a real reminder in case you forget.

I meant to clarify to bce that the setting is off and thats why there is no delay. The feature is still there, only that it is turned off.

As stated, the camera delay feature is off. The cancel button was removed in V3.5.1. One more feature presented in v3.5.1 and is also there in v3.6.2 is the ability to turn off the display.

Recommended pressure is indicated on the VIN information plate at the Driver's door jamb. It should be 35 psi for your tire size.

As far as I know, all MKX/Edge with Push Button start already have remote start from the factory, and since the kit you are referring to is the "Long range" version, most probably it is a long range remote only!

Pull the fuse for the MFT or disconnect the battery for a few minutes.
