  1. Don't know how that happened. Apparently, when posting from a mobile, mistakes are bound to happen. Edit: ok, now I understand how it happened, browsing YouTube on the phone's browser keeps the same website link, even when you are switching videos, the url at the top remains the same. The is the video I meant, it's for an Edge but similar to what you found:
  2. Check this video, it is very simple. Also it's the same for the map lights with sunroof switches: http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=8Nys7PfssZ8
  3. The compatibility list includes Lincoln models that offer only MyLincoln Touch (MFT), they also stated that it's coming next week, and since we are already waiting for 3.7 (or 3.7.11) MFT/MLT update, it might actually come next week. https://www.automatic.com/ford/
  4. The Edge without the tow package is rated at 2000lbs. So there shouldn't be any problem towing 1000lbs.
  5. Taycon, you should your vehicle to a dealer when the screen is dead, try not to restart your vehicle so the screen remains off. The dealer should one of two ways to fix it, a complete reflash of the software, and if that fails, I think they should replace the APIM. The latest 3.6.2 version of the software does cause, normally, cause black screens. Your car getting them means a defect either in the software (reflash) or hardware (replacement), both covered under the 5 year extended warranty of the APIM.
  6. Well since the 2015 Sport has 21" wheels instead of 22", I think it's a good sign of function before form.
  7. Could you tell us what is included in the Titanium that is not available in the Sport?
  8. @Magnetic Edge Is the Sport model listed as an SEL+added options (like previous models) or is it a Titanium+added options? Which is the higher trim level (other than the Engine of course).
  9. You You can register with the page for USA & the download would still be for your vehicle (export).
  10. Yep, sorry, it is 365 hp, posting from the phone is a recipe for typos!
  11. Actually it is 465 HP, Torques is the limiting factor with 350 lbs-ft. The F150 3.5 also had 365 HP but 420 lbs-ft. The 2015 Expedition has 370 HP & 420 lbs-ft while the Navigator has 380 HP & 460 lbs-ft.
  12. The 2013 CTS had 2 Engine options, a 3.0 & 3.6 V6. So if it was an AWD 3.0L, then it would probably be much worse than an Edge Sport: 3.7 FWD Edge Sport, weight ~ 4200 lbs with 305hp/280lbs-ft (@ 6500/4000 RPM) 3.0 AWD 2013 CTS, weight ~ 4000 lbs with 270hp/223lbs-ft (@ very high 7000/5700 RPM)
  13. The throttle body is not mentioned in the warranty guide under the extended warranty, so its probably not covered (the below is for a Lincoln, hence 6Y/70K): However, the Throttlebody is covered under the Emissions Defect warranty for 4Y/50K, though I don't know if its failure as a part is also considered an Emission Deffect:
  14. Did you have a message in the left cluster screen to shift to Park? Try to put the shift lever in Neutral & try to start.
  15. Being nearly in the same position, the Edge / MKX do have short seatbelts. My old '08 Taurus was the same, seems to be a Ford thing as the Chevy Cruze we had & Nissan Altima we now have, both have considerably longer seatbelts, and I mean really much longer. As for a solution, you might try a seatbelt extender, there are also OEM Ford seatbelt extenders you should be ableto get at your dealer.
  16. Yes, the Sport does not have the +/- button on the shift lever. Nor does the 2013 MKX that has Paddle shifters, you get either the shifter button or the paddles, but the wiring diagram doesn't seem to show it like that, my understanding of the diagram is that the wires for the shifter are the same for all Edges.
  17. Just need to spare some time to remove the bottom cover of the steering column & look at the wires. The heat is also not helping!
  18. I personally tried Trico Teflon SHIELD & am very happy with them. They are now ~ 1.5 years old & still working great, though here we have very HOT weather in summer & no snow in winter. TRICO 20260 (20-260) for the drivers sides, 26" long. TRICO 20200 (20-200) for the passenger side, 20" long.
  19. Also, it seems there is a weight difference in the 3.7 Engine cause both, the Sport & MKX are ~ 200lbs heavier than a 3.5 Edge (AWD vs. AWD & FWD vs. FWD).
  20. Did you try a Master Reset on the car? When the phone does not connect, did you try to turn off-on the Bluetooth on the phone or restart the phone? Does it then connect? If yes, did you try a hard reset (factory reset) of the phone?
  21. From your description, cold when moving & hot when stopped, it is most probably the engine cooling fan(s).
  22. 2011, 2012 & early build 2013 did not have an indicator for headlights on. It was added to later builds of 2013 models (and probably 2014). Refer to this thread: http://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/12089-is-there-an-indicator-light-for-head-lights-on/ This is the base cluster with the indicator on: http://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/12089-is-there-an-indicator-light-for-head-lights-on/?do=findComment&comment=92994 This is the dual screen cluster with the indicator: http://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/12089-is-there-an-indicator-light-for-head-lights-on/?do=findComment&comment=92948
  23. Not sure if it is the same, but with my 2011, if the engine is running, the transmission has to be in Park for the lift gate to operate.
  24. Found the wiring diagrams related to the paddles/shifter for the Edge/MKX (attached both, 2011 & 2013). It seems that the same wires are used for the shifter knob +/- switch and the paddles (RE407 & CET42/CET43), the difference being that the same wires (with Paddle shifters) would go through the "Steering Column Control Module". But what I cannot figure out from the diagram is whether the wires for the paddles are only present if the vehicle originally came with them (since they are being labeled so). Also, how come the wires going to the shifter are always there even when the paddles are present. If anyone can shed more light I would be grateful, but from the looks of it, since they are the same wires, it is not a matter of PCM reprogramming, but rewiring and/or reconnections. 25. I have attached the 3 TSBs that cover Memory Seats, Locks & Wipers. They should be simple repairs. Note that even if a door was left open, there is a battery saver feature that will turn off all lights to prevent the battery from discharging, even if you left the headlights on. The only lights that do not turn off by the battery saver are the parking lights if left on manually (headlight knob turned to the 1st position).
