  1. Can you post a picture of what exactly you need a picture of?
  2. As jataylor11 stated, and this is his website: http://www.fordpimods.com/navigation-mft.html
  3. I am not sure about the 18" Explorer wheels, but I tried the 20" Explorer Limited Wheels (polished) & they rubbed against the brake calipers on my 2011 MKX (similar to your Edge).
  4. Although the Owners Manual states H15 for DRL without specifying if it's for HID or non-HID or both, but since the high & low beams are 2 different bulbs in non-HID Edges (H11 low beam & 9005 high beams, the high beam bulb is probably in the same location of the DRL/H15 of HID Edges. HID-equipped Edges have the Low/High beams in the same position (the outer portion/projector) with a moving shield to allow for both functions. It would be better if someone with a non-HID equipped Edge could confirm the actual bulbs installed in their headlight.
  5. The wiper stalk switch? Since both front & rear stopped working, the stalk is common to both. But I don't know how to test it. Is the washer working (front/rear)?
  6. There are different methods of measuring the octane rating of fuel. In short, USA uses the AKI while costa Rica uses RON. So 91 Octane in Costa Rica is nearly equivalent to 87 in USA and the 95 in Costa Rika is equal to 90-91 in USA. For more information: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Octane_rating
  7. There was a TSB for the Drif/Pull issue. Attached a copy. TSB 10-24-8 Drift Pull.pdf
  8. From my test drive with the LKA on an Explorer Limited, if you were holding the wheel, the nudge is only an annoyance & will not overtake your lane change. This is with system turned to alert + assist. Also, if your swerving out lane at a high rate such as an emergency change or turning, the system will not steer you back. Finally, you can simply turn off assist & keep the alerts.
  9. If you like details, check also the rear spoiler, have also noticed they are different. Couldn't see you cars from the back, but newer 2011 & all 2012-2014 have a different rear spoiler.
  10. @macbwt Congrats on the new ride(s) & great job getting all those miles. I noticed that you now have 2 different build of the 2011 Edge. The early build (Blue) has larger side mirrors versus the newer build (Cinnamon) smaller mirrors. Being the owners & drivers of both, did you notice any difference in wind noise?
  11. What you're describing sounds like "D (Drive) with Grade Assist" explained in the owners manual. This is supposed to be in SE models that don't have select shift (+/-) transmission. Do the +/- buttons work normally in "M"? Transmission shifts manually?
  12. Both, the 3.5 & 3.7 got the twin independent variable can timing in 2011 in the Edge, Edge Sport, F150 & MKX. The Edge's 3.5 is basically the same from 2011 & is carried over to the 2015 model unchanged. The F150 used to have the 3.7 from 2011-2014 & changed to the 3.5 in 2015.
  13. A pillars: The two sides of the windshield. B pillars: the sides between front & rear doors. C pillars: behind the rear doors. D pillars: should be the sides of the rear tailgate. Sedans would not have D pillars.
  14. I assume you don't want your VIN to be seen on a public forum. Suggest you erase it from the screenshot.
  15. The bumper protector is made of thick plastic, it would be difficult for the heat to reach the 3m tape without damaging the protector.
  16. Yes, it is the same one. Amazon lists is as not fitting to the Edge because it is designed & made for the Scion. If you decide to get it, just make sure during installation that both corners/sides (the extended lip going down) are pressed to the bumper before sticking the upper portion. I did it the other way around & started from one end, eventually leaving a gap at the other end. The 3M table is very strong that it feels like the paint would come out if I tried to pull it off.
  17. Checking Owners Manuals in Ford Owners site, the 2016 Edge has Sync 3 in the SYNC Quick Reference Guide. Hopefully it is an indication of Sync 3 coming on the 2016 Edge. On the other hand, the 2016 Edge Quick Reference Guide Printing 1 (PDF) shows Sync 2! https://owner.ford.com/tools/account/how-tos/owner-manuals.html
  18. From the Owners Manual: Note under "Easy Fuel “no cap” fuel system" section: Also, under the "Filling the Tank" section:
  19. As per Ford's website, the Edge Sport can tow up to 2000 lbs in standard. You cannot get the optional tow package which would increase capacity to 3500 lbs. Why is it not available on the Sport? Probably a marketing strategy! The '11-14' Edge Sport also did not offer the Tow Package, but that was probably due to the 22" wheels. Note that also the base Edge (SE) does not offer the Tow Package. http://www.ford.com/crossovers/edge/specifications/towing/
  20. As per the Owners Manual, the capacity of the PTU is only 350 ml.
  21. The DRL can be the headlights (at reduced output) or turn signal lights. If they are the Headlights, you can check with your dealer to program them to the turn signals.
  22. I live in the Middle East, but the video is not! We didn't even get the 2015 Edge yet.
  23. As far as I remember, bolt pattern & offset should match, but they have a different hub size. '07-'10 & '11-'14 have different hub sizes. Don't remember which is smaller & which is bigger.
  24. Probably to reduce chances of spammers registering & sending PMs.
  25. @built2prfctn So much better afterwards. Thanks for posting. May I ask, does your Sport have factory HID? If yes, do the high beams side of the DRL function? The owners manual states that the high beams for HID equipped Edge is the same D3S of the low beam (meaning bi-xenon with a moving shield), so this leaves the high beam side of the DRL (H15 bulb) for what? For flash-to-pass or they are always off?
