  1. @JohnR0983 FYI, The drain/fill procedure explains why. See attachment. Engine Oil Draining and Filling 27l.pdf
  2. Just in case, are you aware that for these engines you have to wait ~15 minutes for the oil to fully drain into the pan before checking the oil level?
  3. Dealers will always be expensive. The part number is ft4z5820879dc and itself is much cheaper. See here for example an OEM part. But the part will require painting to match your color. Also, searching the part number on eBay you will find even cheaper and cheaper still used. If your lucky, you might find one with same color saving you from having to paint it.
  4. Thanks. Looked up the part number on Ford's online parts lookup and found it applicable for my Edge's VIN. Even the parts diagram confirms it.
  5. I recently got a previously set DTC P06DD:00-28 for Engine Oil Pressure Control Circuit Performance/Stuck off. No symptoms, check engine light or warning messages. Reading online I feal I might need to replace the "Oil Pressure Control Solenoid" soon, pictured in your post, but I can't seem to find a part number. All I can find is the Variable Valve Timing Oil pressure control solenoid. @Haz your usual assistant is highly appreciated.
  6. I was always perplexed why this was not the case from the factory from the day cross traffic alert was added. Always when reversing and looking at the reverse camera display and hearing the the beeping I have to check the instrument cluster. Please do share how can we get it, if possible.
  7. I remember some Ford owners who retrofitted adaptive cruise control to their cars found the wiring already there. If that's your case it might be a simple plug and play. The plastic cover should come off easily, if it is still similar to the older models. See attached procedure. Head Up Display (HUD) Module.pdf
  8. I see @Wubster100 already answered. At the time I recall enabling it the manual ABD way using information from the 2gfusions forums, however, the site stopped working for me from a long time, probably due to my location outside the US. This thread/post might have the info, but I can't confirm since it doesn't open for me.
  9. Are you looking for it in the left screen of the instrument cluster? That is where it is supposed to be. Not in the Sync menu. Also I am not aware it has any configuration. It is just a display. You might be mixing it with another menu.
  10. I had it enabled on my 2016 Edge Sport using ForScan. Since the 2016 also has the red led bar for collision warning, part of the same bar would turn on when following too closely (red). So I would expect it to be possible to be enabled on the ST.
  11. As far as I know, if the vehicle has Auto Start-Stop, then it has to have an AGM battery. So much so that on some regular batteries there is an exclamation that warranty would be void if installed in a vehicle with auto Start-Stop.
  12. On earlier Gen 2 models there was a TSB for a rattling sound coming from underneath the vehicle. Maybe worth checking out.
  13. Yes. I believe the larger diameter and wider tires are the main reason. Even if the suspension is bottoming out the tires should not rub. Sorry can't help with recommendations. But OEM (Motorcraft) is always a good option.
  14. Strange you're having to replace it 3 times now. Glad your able to fix it easily though.
  15. It was. The 8-speed on the 2.7 was an updated design from the previous 6-speed by adding a shift between the original 1st and 2nd (making a new 2nd) and adding another shift at the top (after the original 6th and becoming the 8th). So with the reprogramming of the 8-speed they cancelled the "new 2nd".
