there are a few topics on this, but I have and many here use and highly recommend the MTEC H11 Ion yellow fogs.

thats all I really need to know. something I will likely do then as anything but dingy yellow is worth a little cost to me, but again, use brights so little, not enough to do a second HID kit.

be careful with the amount of chrome.. but you 'could' do rear view mirrors, door handles, the pillars, rear trunk kit - I have often seen the last to on ebay. all are easy stick on.

any one use them as their brights. I already have HID for lows, but not really wanting to pop for HIDs in my high as I rarely use them.. so this might be the go between.

clean. I am a big fan of visor or high mount like ablb personally, but yours is clean. since you cannot really hid that wire any more since it needs to come around the detector, get yourself some 1/8 black split loom and it will be cleaner and not a bright white wire.

"could" have done it for less on your own with your own kit from automotive store if you really wanted to. find the hole, use the repair kit/plug, fill tire up. done.

I do not have them, the only feature I did not buy as I knew I could always do them after market, but search here on that topic and you will see people that comment on both the Ford ones and after-market and no doubt, it seems you get way more bang for the buck with the after-market. only issue seems to be getting that perfect match (color and thread stitch) to your interior. There are a number of great threads here on installs and comments about some of the after market models. yeah, say good bye to dash mount dvd system

I do not follow the threads on the topic - so I am not well versed in the remote start systems - as I will never have need for one living in SoCal sorry I cannot help. It's one of those things for the edge I have not done.

First, Sync "3.0" has nothing to do with "3.0" BT.. 2 different products/naming conventions. I do not have a 2010 so do not have Sync 3.0 installed, so do not know its technical requirements for phones, the best place to get that on 3.0 would be here Second, since you have a 2010, this whole thread does not really apply to you since it is specific to pre 2010 models. Best to visit that link above, sign up on that website to get an account under the "sync owners" tab and as you provide your cars info, it will tell you what your car can accept and offer sync upgrade options if available.

you misunderstood the post, though I thought I was pretty clear 2.0 was a dealer only install while 2.1 is user installed. YOU cannot go from 1.3 to 2.1. fact but YOU can go to the dealer and have THEM install 2.0 and then YOU can install 2.1 follow? Oh.. and BTW, not sure where you read about 3.0 or that it is "due out shortly after new year which is supposed to resolve issues some are having with 2.1" , but Sync 3.0 is out, actually 3.1 is out, but it is not for those of us using 2.0 model Sync systems. 2010 model people are using 3.0, and if your talking 1.x-2.x Sync, your not 2010 model.

yep, same wedge bulb that is in the map lights up front. order 4 and do those as well I got all mine - and I have done maps, trunk, rear over head, license plate - off of eBay.

I do not have this, but mine creaks until I rest my hand on it. kind of annoying. I would be surprised if it is the OD button, pretty tight tolerance. I would suspect it is down under the shifter where there are more actual moving parts. search the threads here for a recent topic that involved adding an LED light to the cup holder. the OP did a great job on the write up and IIRC he talked about and had photos of how to gain access to under the shifter as you might look there. I have not seen a way to pull the left and right side knobs off the lever.. hard to think it would be there since I bet those are press fit with snap into place, so lots of pressure.

if you have 1.3, no way you could get 2.1 as you need 2.0 and 2.0 is a dealer only install - typically for a cost - but some of us got it free with a dealer coupon. So, look into 2.0 from the dealer and then you can get 2.1, but I understand at this stage, you might get 2.1 automatically at the dealer now. btw, to learn what 2.0 is, search here.. it added 911 and vehicle health report abilities

I have never ever ever tried such a thing, to scared the police will knock my door down I have often wondered, the few people that have offered up making "backup copies" (insert legal speak here) did so and never really came back around. maybe they were contacted by moderators and told tisk tisk tisk... just a speculation of sorts I sold my 6p on the Craigslist long ago, maybe hoping one day I will score an 8p as I think even 135 is a laughable price. Believe it or not, I saw an 8p on CL in Norcal like the first 2 weeks they were out and passed on it, now kicking myself.

I used it on an old '74 FJ40 frame. stuff works awesome. BTW, I do not have this issue on my Edge. no harm in using it though.

we've all been looking for a cheaper way as no one really wants to pay that outrageous price. search here on 8p and you can see some talk on it. but yet, no one has stepped up so it is retail, ebay or nada.

In case some of you do not follow the SMR website, there is an update for those of us with 2007-2009 models. I notice it has not been mentioned here yet so... 9L2T-14D544-BE Version SYNC V2.1 This new software release, based on customer feedback, will improve Ford's 911 Assist and Vehicle Health Report features. Now you can disable the '911 Assist is set to Off' speech reminder. If you choose to turn it off, a line of text reminding you that 911 Assist is disabled will continue to be shown on the radio display. In addition to the 911 Assist enhancement, the Auto Vehicle Health Report feature will now have a default setting of 'OFF'. Simply switch to 'ON' if you wish this report to be automatically generated. Also contained in this release are improvements to USB and Bluetooth features and phone and media device support. neither of the 911 or Health Report feature changes matter to me, but I have not been able to determine just what "improvements to USB and Bluetooth features and phone and media device support" this amounted to. But I actually read more issues than benefits post 2.1.

I would agree 100%... minor heat needed to mold tint. I might have some old tint and just might try it to see. It might be kind of nice, for me, to mute that BIG BLUE oval a bit as it is like POW in your face
