Our EGR hood shields is not the same thing as the other brands mentioned. We manufacture these here in the good old USA. As a matter of fact we also manufacture the acrylic sheet used to produce these so as you can guess we control 100% of the process from concept to packaging. Perfect fit and finish are just one of the perks of being a Tier 1 OEM supplier! Our retail customers get the same quality the OE's! One common misconception for our product is the Bug Guard term. Our hood products are actually branded as hood shields. The design and shape is more aerodynamic that some of the taller bug guards you see Our shields primary function is to protect the nose of the hood from rocks and other debris. It also attaches with clips for a no drill/ tape installation. Here are a couple of studio shots up close long with profile shots so you can see how streamlined it is.

We recently released In Channel; Window visors for the Ford EDGE. We manufacture these here in the good old USA (unlike a few other brands I wont mention, that buy theirs from overseas ) As a matter of fact we also manufacture the acrylic sheet used to produce these so as you can guess we control 100% of the process from concept to packaging. Perfect fit and finish are just one of the perks of being a Tier 1 OEM supplier! Our retail customers get the same quality the OE's do! Here are a couple of studio shots up close long with profile shots so you can see how streamlined they are.

Here's another one with the correct body style. Once again don't laugh too hard at the bad photoshop :hysterical3:
-
I put together a little photoshop of what the vehicle is going to look like. 90% thru I realized I shopped the early body :hysterical2: instead of the new body Edge. Be kind and don't laugh too hard at my rendering, im not Chip Foose.

Hello everyone, I just wanted to introduce ourselves to the forum along with my 2012 Ford Edge. Not much now just a plain 2012 SEL that my work has been using for R&D on the window visors, hood shield and side steps. The best part is that the office is sponsoring it for SEMA this year so stay subscribed here for updates.

Our hood guards are actually not designed as "bug deflectors". Bug deflectors are usually a bit taller. Our low profile design is used to be aerodynamic and guard the hood from rocks and debris, no necessarily deflect them.

Where did you buy this from that they did the switch on you?
